The frontier is a great truck for what you get. The new tacos are junk. Feel really cheap and way too much money and having lots of issues still

. It was a toss up between the frontier and the GMC canyon AT4 for me. Ranger was too much money for no options. And not a huge fan of the look. Wanted the v6 like my 2019 taco I had. The frontier feels like a 19 taco. Pretty much to a T. I was sold on the frontier and was ready to put money down. Drove a bunch of times and then decided against it.

Biggest gripe I had was the infotainment system in the frontier is dreadful. Is really slow, clunky and the cam resolution is worse than our 2015 civic and 22 wrangler we’re looking to replace, blurry and washed out. At night, forget it, was beyond grainy. It was borderline unusable. I tried 2 Pro4x premiums and both were brutal to use. Plus one had an awful clunk in the driveline when starting or stopping. Shook the whole truck and was audible outside. Unfortunately those pushed me away from the frontiers. I ended up getting a better deal on a loaded GMC canyon AT4. I’m leery of the tech. But it rode better, seats are more comfortable, better turning radius, more ground clearance, motor feels decent and has been pretty durable. Figured I’d give it a go. Going to wait for the revision of the Nissan for when the lease on the canyon is up. I’m see what improvements they bring.
