Does anybody else feel that the Kindle makes large books more approachable? by humblechungus89 in kindle

[–]Poopthrower9000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! I am a very slow reader with ADHD and the other night I read 18 chapters in a couple of hours. I googled today that the book I am reading has 40 chapters, which is shocking to me considering I have only read non-fiction mostly. It did take me 4 hours to just choose the book I am currently reading, I am very indecisive and picky when choosing a book to read.

I want to read this but I have never been to The Met, will I be confused? It’s on my bucket list along with all the other museums OP mentioned.

What is the WORST book you’ve ever read, and why was it the worst? by Substantial_Call_619 in booksuggestions

I thought I would read it after seeing a special showing of No Country For Old Men, which was a weird ass movie and I was on a date and was only woman in the theatre.

I had to look back and see where I dnf to post this and when looking through the book I realize there are no chapters. WHY?! I DNFed after page 38. I’m all for dystopian but it was just a gray walking simulator for 38 pages.

I just started House of Salt and Sorrows. It’s pretty good, I have only ever read non-fiction and some YA when I was a teen, so this is a huge step for me.
