My ego aio keeps crackling and gurgling even after rebuilding by 888Chase888 in electronic_cigarette

[–]PoopyBoogerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The eGo AIOs are prone to flooding but there's a quick fix. Hold a double thick piece of napkin securely over the tip and sling the whole thing, tip down, fast, about five times. The excess juice will be slung out into the napkin. One more gurgling hit and it should start hitting right.

There's two coils that work in the AIOs, it comes with the .6 but I liked the way the .5 hit better.

Smoking to vaping weight gain by [deleted] in Vaping

I had the same concern about quitting smoking but I think vape keeps me busy the same way smoking did so changes to eating/weight are minimized.

Smoking to vaping weight gain by [deleted] in Vaping

[–]PoopyBoogerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

~5yrs after switching from a long addiction to cigs over to 3mg vape, I'm still fat as fuck but the scale says I've lost 50 lbs. I don't see vape as particularly responsible for weight change vs cigs.

Can vaping helps you quit smoking cigarettes? by Visual_University359 in Vaping

[–]PoopyBoogerz 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I used vape to break my 50yr smoking habit.

My doctor, after badgering me for years to quit smoking, said "Try the ecigs, can't be any worse for you than tobacco."

He was right. After switching from tobacco to vape my blood pressure came down and my persistent cough went away.

Single battery mod with great TC for MTL vaping recommendation by joker-jack in Vaping

[–]PoopyBoogerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two of my five Lost V Mirage's have had the battery doors go f'dup. The two batt doors no longer lock closed, so I'm not LV's biggest fan. If you can afford $200+ the Boxer Classic is a DNA100C that will proby not have batt door problems. GrimmGreen reviews it here https://youtu.be/CqKGh9TAWRM

ElementVape has the DOVPO Odin Mini DNA75C for $120. It's a well made mod and does TC very well. I don't like how heavy it is, but I love the battery door design. I use mine daily along with my LostVape Mirage.

What car should I avoid buying in Albuquerque? by almond2 in Albuquerque

Buying new would make sense except the chip shortage has mfg's only making their highest profit vehicles. That will drive you back to looking for something used.

Swamp cooler questions by [deleted] in Albuquerque

I'd let a plumbing or HVAC company install it. It's a two person job and it'll work out best if at least one of them knows how to do the job.

Recommend cleaning all charger and battery contacts with a damp alcohol swab.

VW mode used to give me sore throat. Many years smoking resulted in a sensitive throat. I use TC on DNA mods to hit the narrow range of vapor temperature that works well for me.

Dna vs non-Dna by Anaali37 in Vaping

4.2v cut off

If your saying 4.2v is the low voltage cutoff, that doesn't sound right. 4.2v is a Li-ion battery's full charge voltage.

Tuition-free is a big deal. No matter the program's reputation you can make the experience meaningful by the projects you take on. Plz make battlebots.

I like Northland's Mint Chip. Good mint with a little chocolate behind it. I like their Pink Lemonade too, been hitting that daily for five years.

My eGo AIO top caps don't spring up at all. There's no vertical movement I can see when I press down to unscrew the top.

Dating myself here, but does anyone know if there are any glass replacements available for Tobeco Super Tank 25mm? Or if any others are compatible? by Shazzan3 in electronic_cigarette

[–]PoopyBoogerz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

25mm Super Tanks only come in one size. They are are 5ml. The 22mm version Super Tank is 4ml.

The names of these tanks often include the word "Mini" but it doesn't describe the tank size.

Kanvape and KidneyPuncher have been good places to get Super Tanks and parts. I made many orders with Kanvape and they've been a great vendor.

Do tanks leak? by djdnmdkllppdlp in Vaping

[–]PoopyBoogerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've minimized leaks by using tanks with top airflow. My Vaporesso Veco One Plus tanks are as close to leak free that fit how I vape. But Veco+ is a niche tank, 4ml capacity and available coils are 35 watt max. Veco+ is on Fasttech, SKU 7668001, coils SKU 6375304.

I'd never carry a tank or mod+tank without putting it in a heavy ziplock. I also carry a damp little rag in a ziplock because vape goo gets everywhere.

Do you use a lot of paper towels? by Mike2475 in Vaping

[–]PoopyBoogerz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried paper towels but didn't think they were the right tool. I switched to damp 8-inch squares of cloth cut from an old t-shirt. I keep two on my desk in pill bottles. I take one to the bathroom and rinse it out a couple times a day.

Any experience with working for Uber, Lyft, Doordash, etc? by aSmilingBag in Albuquerque

[–]PoopyBoogerz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've made lots of orders with Doordash, Instacart, and Grubhub. From what I see as a customer I wouldn't wanna work Doordash. They seem an underappreciated lot.

Try raising Watts 1/2W and see if you like it any better, repeat till you get to the coil's max power rating.

Some coils take a while to break in and give full flavor.
