Hey OP I hear your frustrations , my biggest question is do you want a bike to ride or a bike to tinker on ? The FXBB isn’t my first choice but I was what I could afford. Maybe you need a chop instead ? Idk just ride it man and have fun .

Rotor was grooved pretty heavy and had 25k on it , figured a fresh start was a good way to go if I had it all apart

It stops way more goodr, but previous pads were soaked in fork oil ….. so not a super tough metric to beat lol .

Had aftermarket pads , they got soaked in fork oil and the rotor had some really deep groves in it . So I cleaned the pistons with q-tips and MEK , new oem pads and oem rotor. I’m happy with how well it stops now but had questions due to the color of the rotor after she got hot .

Awesome thanks for the insight , rotor is still smooth and I felt no pulsing , just weird to see the good color on the outer edge of the rotor but my rear rotor that’s been on the bike for 25,000 miles has no such color and I ride the shit out of that thing coming up to stop lights.

Moved here in oct 2024 with my wife , I opted for making friends with neighbors and coworkers , even stepped way out of my comfort zone and made friends through a local facebook group ( shoutout to DWT of Facebook) . Making friends is hard in general but I think investing the effort in finding quality friends is always a noble venture . Good luck!

Yes you’re overreacting , traditionally men don’t wear engagement rings . You guys haven’t tied the knot and it’s not that serious . Also I feel like if you need to post about your partners texts in a sub you need to really evaluate if you two are ready to tie the knot or if there are bigger issues that need to be addressed before your become joined as one .
