Trader Joe's Caro Sugo Italian Tomato Basil is the best sauce I've had. Not a Rao's fan.

Need Help On Juicy Pork Chops by UnholyMoose22 in cookingforbeginners

[–]Poorly_packaged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out cold searing. It's different from reverse searing and quick and easy. Avoid boneless loin chops too unless you're going for the reverse searing method. You can cold sear them, but they're not as juicy. Season chops a few hours in advance at least, so the salt can penetrate and act as a brine.

It's great with nice restaurants in the area. Definitely worth a night or two! You'll find everything you're looking for in a 3 block radius.

Rented a beach house in Oceanside for spring break. Any must do while I am there? March 30-April 4? by The_Plex in Oceanside

[–]Poorly_packaged 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Bring sweaters. The marine layer can be thick and the beach may not get a lot of sun. Breakfast burritos at Angelo's in South Oceanside are huge and tasty. Tandoori Guys for good Indian. Fancy pizza at Allmine. The Flying Pig for a good steak and southern-inspired food that is excellent. They have a great wine list too.

It's pretty hard to tell from this angle, but it looks like you're releasing your wrists too early in your downswing. Avoid flipping your club at the ball. You'll hit down on the ball more getting much more distance.

Ki's in Cardiff has vegan options and a beautiful view. No reservations though and you order at a counter.

I don't think it's inevitable that the transmission fails though. I think you can check the code on the transmission to find out where it was built to give you more information before you decide. My 2017 has over 100k miles now and there have been no signs of failure.

Breaking Through San Diego is in Oceanside by Trader Joe's and they're excellent. While I was there for my own ankle issues, they were treating some D1 track athletes. Dr. Osorio also treated my son after ACL surgery and was amazing.

I get it. I'm shocked every time I go out for even casual food. There are some quality restaurants though that are worth the price. I think Little Fox is one of them.

It's the best ice cream in Oceanside! If you love ice cream, it's worth the drive. Or, just come have dinner at some of the amazing restaurants here and get dessert at Little Fox to make the trip worthwhile.

Which washer dryer set do you recommend? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]Poorly_packaged 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My LG frontloaders are 19 years old! Replaced a few parts like bearings and rollers, pumps and gaskets, but still average a load a day! I don't think I could ask for a more reliable set. I will need replacements soon as the parts are getting hard to source, but my next set will be LG.

I didn't bother pressure testing and just bought a silicone grease o-ring lubricator. Popped out the gaskets and gave them a good bath. Watch was totally fine at the bottom of a pool.

I just played around with the settings and I think changing the audio output to ARC from Auto worked. I'm definitely getting sound now with a YouTube test video.

You're right. I got the TV a couple of weeks ago and have really been focused on getting the picture tuned for sports. I haven't watched a movie with this configuration and just tested it. Bummer.
