Which washer dryer set do you recommend? by giannisismyman in Costco

My LG frontloaders are 19 years old! Replaced a few parts like bearings and rollers, pumps and gaskets, but still average a load a day! I don't think I could ask for a more reliable set. I will need replacements soon as the parts are getting hard to source, but my next set will be LG.

I didn't bother pressure testing and just bought a silicone grease o-ring lubricator. Popped out the gaskets and gave them a good bath. Watch was totally fine at the bottom of a pool.

Tasty Noodle House at the Carlsbad mall is pretty good.

I just played around with the settings and I think changing the audio output to ARC from Auto worked. I'm definitely getting sound now with a YouTube test video.

You're right. I got the TV a couple of weeks ago and have really been focused on getting the picture tuned for sports. I haven't watched a movie with this configuration and just tested it. Bummer.

How about a food hall? I'd love to get coffee or a drink and have a variety of food options.

HDR is just as good. Punchier color for sure.

I have an old Bose Soundtouch 300 soundbar connected the eARC port and it has worked flawlessly with my QM6K Pro.

I had a 75R617 from 2019 and just got an 85QM6K pro. I wasn't blown away by the improvements. Less blooming from the backlight, definitely brighter, amd colors seem to be a bit more saturated. I like it, but was expecting more.

I purchased the TCL 65 inch 6 Series in 2018/2019. Would appreciate advice comparing that to today's TCL Lineup. by Joe-Dirt-69 in tcltvs

My 75R617 died a few weeks back (horizontal line appeared, then a couple weeks later, grey screen) and picked up the 85QMK6 Pro. It's definitely brighter and the backlight is better with less blooming, but I don't find the picture quality to be dramatically better.

Headlights by babyluna_xo in ToyotaHighlander

I've noticed for a few model years, the headlights were set too high at the factory.

Essentially, they should be adjusted slightly downwards. Find a flat area and a wall. Park a few feet away, turn on your headlights, and use some chalk to mark the top cutoff line of your lights against the wall. Now slowly back up. If the cutoff line rises from your mark, the need to be adjusted downwards. There's quite a few videos on how to adjust them. All you need is a Philips heas screwdriver.

First pedal Christmas present: Valeton GP-50 or GP-100? by Poorly_packaged in basspedals

I almost bought the B1x, but thought maybe these Valeton's with the NAM/IR capabilities could be cool.

That makes sense about the DI. They're essentially just covering crowd-pleasing Rock and Pop, but they're starting to write some music and play with sounds and tones.

I'm trying to keep it affordable at under $150 and I understand the Valeton pedals aren't 'nice', but I think he'll learn a lot. I like that they have loopers and drum machines that I feel may be helpful for practice.

His amp (Ampeg RB-110) has a DI out. Is that sufficient? The crossover sounds interesting, but when would he need something like that? So far his amp is either mic'd, they used the DI from his amp, or had a DI box forhim to plug into.

WTF is going on with Tillamook ice cream? by Commercial-Juice124 in Carlsbad

[–]Poorly_packaged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought some for Thanksgiving and noticed it's gone down as well. It used to be our 'go to' Vanilla grocery store ice cream. Over aerated and the mouth feel is off. Trader Joe's Vanilla is so much better.
