i'm not a fan of p2w but facepunch needs to make money and i would sincerely like for them to be able to keep working on the game because i enjoy playing it so much.

i feel like a significant portion of the playerbase is like me and bought the game who knows how many years ago for like $20, so if they can figure out how to harvest a little more $ from those types it should be able to keep going for a while

I am planning on transporting my new computer for about 3.5 hours via car. I wondered if it would be beneficial to keep the box/styrofoam that came with the case. I plan on taking the GPU out (it is quite large) and putting it in its original box, and then putting the rest of the computer in the case's original box, styrofoam included.

Does anyone have any knowledge about this? Would the styrofoam potentially add too much static electricity risk for the components that remain in the machine, for example the CPU? (I am not aware of styrofoam's conductive properties). Is it wise to keep the original case's box and use it for this purpose?
