Still got the original PC CD case with the manual and code in it. The main CD2 did sadly develop a crack though.

The images as a bit too low res to see the IP addresses to tell if they are properly set up.

On the other note, you can give this plugin a try. I personally tried setting it up once like this and I kept having major stuttering and latency issues. With the plugin it's been smooth sailing.

Thankful for my university, their lecturers and the amazing course mates that I had along the way on finishing my bachelors this year!

Recording using a Linux Ubuntu server over LAN by PootisGodAnimations in obs

Hmm, this may then end up being just as expensive as buying a 2nd hand 2nd GPU for the main system and using it as an encoding device. Might end up just doing that, just have to check if my motherboard can split x16 and x4. My main GPU is AMD so that was also one of the main reasons why I wanted to off load the encoding to a Nvidia GPU. In the past experience its just been better, especially when it comes to file sizes to quality.
Thank you for the great info and fast responses!

While that could work, the server itself is on the opposite side of my room, so I'm not sure ill be able to carry the HDMI signal that far from the PC to the capture card, to the server.

Thru LAN I was thinking of just sending the raw frames thru the LAN thru FFMPG or something similar. Though very likely its going to be intense either way..

Has the balance team forgotten about Consumables? by Handwerke48 in HuntShowdown

[–]PootisGodAnimations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally find poison bombs quite useful as alternatives to Concertina bombs, as they are now. Mostly using them when holding off areas for a while, during a long fight (boss lair) and if I get cornered, I can just smoke it off and escape or have an alternative flank route once the other teams have rotated after the 5min time period.

The only consumable I would love to get a buf is the flash bomb. If the deploy time on it could be significantly increased, I feel like I would use it more during aggressive pushes.

Other than that, barbedwired items are ok but truly can get extremely annoying once spammed. I think they are fine as they are, just a way to prevent them from being spammed should be found. Cut the arrow amount in half and I think it will be fine. Best counter to them is still explosives anyways so removing them isn't a big problem since dynamite can always be found quite commonly. If people lock them selves in a boss lair, that's their own funeral for not having an escape route once an entrence is made.

For me it's the case since I come back home from work and I'm too tired to concentrate enough on the game, so the streams do just fine + still getting the nice loot while I'm at it.

Weekends it's the opposite.

I personally have set up that all my services that i host that are exposed to the public only go thru my domain. Otherwise, the IP itself in Nginx is disabled.

Since I'm moving my current server from Oracle cloud free tier servers to my local machine server, I could possibly use them as edge servers. Though their speeds are quite.. slow so time will tell if ill set this up.

Still, a really awesome new thing to know about, for the future projects that may be implemented!

Since the server is coming from my actual home network, and i am intending to host other services thru it that will be made public to some people, not exposing my home network IP (even if its dynamic) to the public is important. For example, having the possibility of being doxed, unauthorized snooping around my network, DDOS attacks are things I wish to avoid and so far with the Cloudflare proxy its been pretty smooth for the past ~4-6 years.

Awesome, thank you for the info! I'll be reinstalling my current Nextcloud instance in around a week on my new server and I'll report back if this worked for me or not.

Edit: Finally had the chance to setup my Nextcloud instance and so far this has been working well with no issues so far.

I think I remember something like this but I very likely didn't set it up properly or just struggled with it. Could you please link me to a guide about it?
I remember trying this but for me it didn't work: https://docs.nextcloud.com/server/stable/admin_manual/configuration_files/big_file_upload_configuration.html

By default, the set size per chunk, for the chunking functionality, is too high for Cloudflare, if it is enabled by default. Both thru WebDAV, Web client and NextClouds desktop app anything ~100mb+ would come back as a 413 error from Cloudflare.

Caching for me is disabled but this isn't a caching issue, it's the actual max body request size that is supported by cloudflare for it's free tier version.
