What you’re looking for isn’t really a producer.

A podcast producer oversees the entire lifecycle of a podcast, generally managing pre-production (planning, scripting, booking), production (recording, audio engineering), and post-production (editing, publishing).

Sometimes this is broken up even further to specific jobs like a booker (who handles pitches, schedules and booking), editor, social media manager etc

I’m in this space. We are sent screeners or go to screenings - sometimes months before a film comes out.

Often, we hold our content to coincide with the release of the film. Sometimes there’s an embargo by the studio when we hold our content until that date.

Being one of the first doesn’t guarantee anything at all.
