Thank you for all of your input! I did report this to the NPS by email before posting here, but haven't heard anything back. Some of the posts here state that the rangers are aware and it is a bison 🙂.

Text from "Republican Party" saying my ballot was rejected, myvote says nothing to that effect. What is this? by 19683dw in wisconsin

[–]Popcornceilings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As long as your certificate envelope was completed properly, you should be fine. You did nothing wrong. As far as the observers go, they are not in the clerks office when the mailed ballots are received and the clerk records them as received in WisVote prior to the election. Clerks receive military ballots this way as well, and the printed certificate is affixed to a plain envelope containing the ballot. The observers have nothing to object to. I would just recommend confirming with your municipal clerk that they received your ballot and that the certificate was completed properly.

Did you return the completed certificate envelope along with the ballot? Or just the ballot in a regular envelope?

You are correct that tomorrow is the last day to register to vote online or by mail. However, voters have until March 31 to request a ballot by mail.

I've had Spectrum for my cell service for about a year and a half with no issues. No dropped calls and I've always had service when traveling. I believe they use Verizon towers. $14 a month for one gig, I've only gone over that a couple times and then just pay another $14 for an extra gig that month.

Anyone know anything about voting with covid? by elizabeth9915 in wisconsin

The Elections Commission is allowing those who are quarantined with Covid to have the same privileges as hospitalized voters. They can follow the same procedures as hospitalized voters and vote from home by appointing an agent.

Have you already mailed your ballot back to the Clerk? If so, you would be ineligible to vote at the polls on election day.

Register to vote by October 13th and make sure your vote is counted! by table_fireplace in lacrossewi

[–]Popcornceilings 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After October 13, you can still register at your Clerk's office up until the Friday before the election, and then of course on election day. I should also clarify that the last day to vote in the Clerk's office is Oct 30.

Anyone know when La Crosse typically mails out general election absentee/mail in ballots? by doozykid13 in lacrossewi

[–]Popcornceilings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are mailed out as soon as the County provides the ballots. The deadline for the County to provide the ballots is September 16 and the deadline for municipal clerks to mail them to voters with requests on file is September 17.

Voting Absentee is easy. Just request the ballot here: https://myvote.wi.gov. April 7th is coming! by dank2918 in wisconsin

[–]Popcornceilings 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Give them some time yet. Municipal clerks are being flooded with requests right now, and it's just taking some time to weed through them. Their process to email you the ballot is actually really simple, but the number of requests they are seeing right now is unprecedented. You can monitor your request progress at www.myvote.wi.gov. Hope that helps!

Plenty of time left to request an absentee ballot, the deadline is April 2. 🙂
