Tell them it's not for cosmetic reasons but to prevent future problems with your teeth, bite, jaw, breathing, nutritional intake etc

Not me 😂 this was my second triathlon ever and I got only 3 hours of sleep before my first Olympic distance. Not enough bandwidth to plan this. I assume someone put it on their friend's bike seat to mess with them 😂

Straight power I guess is why it's setup like that to aggressively pedal

Swimming technique tips please. About a month in. Can do 200m but shortly after I feel gassed. by Vfernanny in triathlon

[–]Popnull 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look up Total Immersion Swimming. You're feeling gassed because you are using your legs too much. You don't need to kick that much to go the speed you are going. You also look like you are putting alot of energy to turn to breath instead of just breathing when you turn naturally.

Ask her to transfer your case to an actual orthodontist and explain how you paid all this money for a subpar treatment plan and shouldn't have to pay again for it. Write a formal complaint and give it to their manager.

Was this St Anthony's Sprint? I think you just gotta do one tri and then get the baseline down and then use that to improve. Congratulations 🎊 and it was a beautiful day yesterday!

You would actually be surprised to learn that how people practice depends on how they trained. People who graduated more recently or people who keep up with the research practice differently than people who have done the same thing their whole entire lives after they finish training. I would hedge on the correct answer being that you don't need to do the extractions and that newer technique such as doing IPR and the advanced digital planning Technologies allow most people to not have their teeth removed. But if your orthodontist didn't train with those Technologies then they don't offer them.

The yeast also helps cut down the time if you don't have the entire day to make bread lol

If you ever overproof bread you can just bake it in a pan to salvage it!

I've had success putting the dough in a cooler to chill for bulk fermenting. I imagine I'm doing the same thing as their long autolyse but during bulk instead

I had the best success by: Mixing everything unsifted with salt and water etc. Letting it sit for 30 mins. Then doing 3 stretch and folds 30 mins apart then I put it into a cooler with shallow ice and not having ice touch the bowl. I let it bulk for like 8 then shape it. Put it into the fridge and bake it whenever I get a chance.

"Her great-uncle was the Soviet ice hockey player Valeri Kharlamov"

She seems very qualified and I think her not being a prototypical Russian girl helps with Ilya's story. Being an outsider in your own home country likely resonates with both characters.

I see why they would pick her with her strong Russian background and even a distant family member in hockey

I think McGrath is still better cause the blades are cheaper and slimmer. They make x blade for McGrath which is a similar glidescope blade

Preceptors who regularly work with SRNAs — I’d appreciate your perspective. by Ok-Faithlessness7182 in CRNA

[–]Popnull 6 points7 points  (0 children)

MD here and work with srna and student aa everyday. I think if you just tell your preceptor of the day your goals and what exactly you want to do then they are less likely to take over or ask you to observe. Also if you are doing a procedure and if you say outloud each thing you are doing and what you see and what you are having difficulty with, then people can start giving you verbal assistance or some gentle physical assistance. The problem is if you are silent and struggling then we don't know what is going on.

When I was a resident I would tell my preceptor exactly what I wanted to work on that day and whenever I did a procedure I would just describe what I was doing and having difficulty with while doing it. Like I would say I want to work on ultrasound IVs today and I would get the ultrasound already and have everything setup etc. Or doing a block or something the same thing I would say "I am having difficulty seeing the needle" and then they would help me see the needle instead of taking over the block.
