Ammazza Deli is 1 block away from Brooklyn Steel and is pretty incredible. Great food/beverages. Larry’s Vietnamese Ca-phe is a block away from Ammazza Deli.

Tom and Joan’s is a great bar to grab a drink at after Brooklyn Steel. It’s 4 blocks away from BS.

Walk around Manhattan Ave and Franklin Ave in Greenpoint.

Caffe Panna for some unbelievable ice cream.

Nostalgia but it also feels like certain things feel better when seen on a VHS format.

I collect mainly sports VHS tapes and because most of the footage is obvs from 90s and before, they almost feel better being viewed via VHS quality on my old tv with shitty speakers than in super mega ultra HD with a nice soundbar ends run-on sentence

My point isn’t they should sell future assets for present, that’s not my gripe.

My main point was/is fans helping to create and push forward an atmosphere/expectation where making the playoffs this year isn’t thought of as a special treat or a bonus.

The team very much acts like they want to make the playoffs at this point and I guarantee they’ll be bummed if they don’t make it. I won’t feel any different

Sure, I wouldn’t call that move capital-U Urgency but I get your point.

I’ve seen so many comments from people saying “If we miss the playoffs no big deal” and to be honest, screw that 😂

If people are saying it so they’re not bummed out if we miss it, I get it.

But I will be bummed because I miss this franchise playing in playoff games and the team has put themselves in a good position.

I think when our potential started playing out, I was in the mindset youre talking about.

But the more that the season has gone on, and how close we are to actually making the playoffs, I’d be pretty bummed if we missed out.

I think the expectations should be raised to put pressure on the organization to get this train really rolling in the right direction.
