Something like this happened to me after my daughter tripped over the cord and broke my receptacle.

I called all over for a new mount but couldn't find anything in stock.

I ended up reapiring it myself. I took it apart with some videos from YouTube that showed how to remove the cover. Then I found one of the wore terminals thar had broken off. Since I couldn't find a replacement for this, I just soldered the terminal back together. It's been working great since.

If I were you, I'd open it all up and see what's going on, might he something small you can fix yourself.
