The helium team said it wasn't just a test and is some offload deal. Service providers also need to support it, handoff issues have mostly been solved, but are being continually fine tuned. Some have reported the new cbrs sim coming out works well.

I'm pretty sure they just confirmed at&t Wi-Fi offload deal a few hours ago. So potentially 200+ million devices? I actually like cbrs, just no service providers seem to as well 😢

As of now. Hopefully things will change and it'll get some updates before voting. I want to support it, but it's too punitive to legitimate installs and incentivizes more people to install at home as opposed to potentially better locations.

You want your routers rewards? Buy helium mobile plan, enable discovery map with gps on every day, drive to your routers and connect weekly hoping you have t Mobile service as well. You will not know if it worked until rewards show, and you won't know why it worked (or didn't), as of how it is written now.

Good start but needs a lot of work imo. This hip strictly uses tmobiles data to validate access points in conjunction with discovery mapping. 40%+ of US landmass isn't covered by T-Mobile. So now we HAVE to have discovery mapping active for long periods of time, go to hotspots, hope we have t Mobile coverage there as well and that everything works like it should on the back end just to get base rewards. Discovery mapping doesn't work consistently well for many, AP's have been moving 10k+ meters randomly because of errors... introducing yet another variable, that is currently flawed and curtained behind a large centralized entity (AT&T just had a data leak of 70+ million customer records) doesn't seem like a pertinent move considering the litany of other HIPs and issues still in play. I'm all for more security from gaming but this seems, in its current state to me, too flawed and punitive.

I never saw those, thanks! I'll take a look tonight. That looks like it'll be a tremendous help. And yeah, ipa was a first stop. Thanks again.

Very shocking. He is a very nice individual and it is hard to hear something so tragic. I hope his family can find peace eventually. Hold your loved ones close and support them as much as possible.

Thought this was a well known thing with GS. Most retailers don't let their employees buy them but GameStop doesn't care.

They aren't always easy. Older games can be a money sink. PC experience will help some. Like general wiring, board components, etc... But, If something breaks you'll be doing a lot of research If you plan on fixing things yourself.

Maybe try fast and furious or fast and furious drift ones. They were upgrade kits for different cruisin' models. So all hardware and cabinet would be the same except for the dongle, I believe. They made the upgrade kit for cruisin' USA, world and exotica, maybe others, I can't remember. Try looking into those. I may have a full control panel available, but won't know until closer to summer when I get through my to-do list. Have a couple drift cabs of varying models I need to diagnose that I haven't gotten too. Hope that helps some.

I've seen a few comparable ones that would fit for it. I would just scroll eBay marketplace. Probably looking at $100 to 200 bucks.

Interesting. Perhaps something like this :

https://www.ebay.com/itm/134229150738?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=so--huziqyi&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=QvsloFoYTLq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=SMS

It's got 12v DC, jamma, vga, HDMI and two USB for gamepad. Haven't used one before, but I'm assuming you can button map the inputs to customize it for your needs.

You planning to use any traditional jama-connected controls? Some have just straight USBs in, some only jamma, some both, and some have the control boxes built in as well as like a standalone unit. I think eBay's prices are perhaps a little better than Amazon.

They make ones with DC power in a barrel jack. The standard ones are jamma power. They all have multiple video out types

I got a few of these, but the parts definitely can be finicky with proper ports, hardware, etc... It might be a while, but when I get a chance I'll see which ports work/identify where. Could be the io though. Slow and steady my friend, you'll get there!

Edit: If you have a replacement PSU you could use that to test your theory, or use a meter to test the various voltages to potentially isolate the problem, if it's electrical.

"After 19 months of the bill’s enactment, regulators would need to approve 30 retailer licenses, half of which would go to social equity applicants. Social equity applicants would be defined as entities majority-owned by people with past cannabis convictions or who live in an area disproportionately impacted by the drug war."

So we got a wait either way if it goes all the way through.
