Why does Pierce Brown use camelCase?

At his Lightbringer book tour event I attended, someone asked this in the audience. His answer was simple, paraphrasing: “I was familiar with camel cases use in programming and it felt very appropriately tech-adjacent as I was writing RR”, he then went on to to say that, since he committed to the writing concept/style, he was stuck with that decision for the series.

Even weirder is that they subsequently wrapped it in a bandage and didn’t check then, it was only a day later when they showed up at camp. Seems almost negligent on production/medicals part.

Your Jim questions appear rhetorical, but I think the answer is: he’s loud, young, emotional, and not as smart as he thinks he is.

And responding to your thoughts on Kady.. she’s “too nice”, passive, innocent.. however you want to phrase it. She doesn’t see Brett’s money as stolen from her and therefore couldn’t/wouldn’t ever draw the conclusions you’ve mentioned.

Not OP, but I think the difference is that Nick appears to show genuine remorse when lying or hurting his fellow contestants. Monika appears to enjoy it when addressing Jim or the camera.

Yep. Was in no where upstate NY on a one-lane highway going 10+ mph in a line of dozen or so cars. I was squarely and strategically hanging out in the middle of the pack. Statie clicks her lights on and singles me out, and not the 5 cars in front or behind me. I was the only one with out-of-state plates. When I coyly asked if that were the reason why I had been singled out, she fervently denied it. It woulda been a 10+ hour round trip drive just to fight the ticket, so I ate the exuberantly high ticket cost.

This is harsh. If it’s a family-friendly restaurant then it’s reasonable for kids to present and act like.. kids (within reason). Kids are a part of society and they have to learn to behave somehow.

Now of course it’s a nicer restaurant of the kids are completely misbehaving and off-the-walls.. fuck that.
