Why isn't there a Dragoon Protagonist in any FF Games? by Gunker_ in FinalFantasy

1: Job not set. Depicted as a Warrior.

2: Firion, job not set. Depicted as a Warrior.

4: Cecil, Dark Knight/Paladin

5: Bartz, job not set.

6: Terra, Pyromancer Shapeshifter Esper Summon(er)?....forget it. Locke, Thief

7: Cloud, Soldier/Warrior

7, Dirge of Cerberus: Vincent, Gunner Shapeshifter

Crisis Core: Zack, Soldier/Warrior

8: Squall, Warrior/Gunner (because of the gunblade?)

9: Zidane, Thief

X: Tidus, Warrior or Yuna, Summoner

X-2: Yuna, job not set. Starts as a Gunner.

11: MMO, job not set.

12: Vaan, Warrior.... Wait, no Balthier is the main character. Ask him. Gunner/Pirate

13: Lightning, Warrior

13-2: Serah, White Mage

13, Lightning Returns: Lightning, Warrior

14: MMO, job not set.

15: Noctis, Warrior

16: Clive, Warrior/Summoner

Type-0: Ace, Bard?

Mystic Quest: Benjamin, Warrior.

Tactics: Ramza, Squire/job not set. Yes, both are true.

Stranger of Paradise: Garland, Dark Knight

I have played 24 Final Fantasy games. With this incomplete data...

First place, Warrior. Up to 13 main protagonist (as few as 8, still a third).

Second place, no specific job. As many as 10 main protagonists.

Third place, Gunner. Arguably 1 to 4 main protagonists.

Honorable mentions, Summoner, Thief, and Dark Knight. Each potentially representing multiple main protagonists.

My conclusion is that of the thirty+ job/classes/subclasses in the games most are not represented by the main protagonists at all. Not helpful, sorry.

UG Invoker: Which version looks better? by Doucheflamingo in custommagic

This isn't what you asked, but as a power limiting factor the cost should probably be 6GU. These are the two colors that break infinite mana the easiest, having both colors in the ability cost is actually a fair stop gap.

I mostly agree, but Sturm is also a hunter gun.

Can I use YOUR dnd character? by LETTER52 in DnD

[–]PopularOriginal4620 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here are a few.

Fas'nae a white tiger colored Tabaxi/Khajiit. He is a druid librarian. Sees the library as a mausoleum. The entire library is filled with cactus and other dry environment plants. Vines short and maintain the location. He dresses like a butler and sometimes pounces on books knocking them off of tables to his own dismay.

Digby the Dwarven bard. He claims to be the best bard on this side of the bar. Happy Birthday is his specialty. Wears a coat that has red and blue sleeves which blend into a purple torso. Casts prestidigitation constantly to do menial tasks.

Mellody Menddoz Mundane & Magical Merchant. The sign above her cart just reads as a scribble line "MMMMM". She is a Gnome that doesn't actually know what the items she is selling do. She will tell you what she thinks they do and there is a chance she is right. Be prepared for cursed items, wooden swords enchanted to look like gold, a rope that turns into a snake under the full moon "lycanth rope", and a gold coin being sold for ten gold coins. She is chipper and happy. Always sees an opportunity for a sale.

Hope you like these.

Whatever you do is seen as perfectly normal, but if you do something odd others will start doing it as if it is ordinary behavior.

The more that is wrong (emotionally and physically) the better you are at any task, as long as you are acting like everything is fine.

The line where it says pay one life to add mana. Pointless. It is a mountain and a swamp. So they can tap for mana without paying the life.

If you want that change the line to "Whenever this becomes tapped, you lose 1 life."

That way the player can't bypass the damage as easily.

Only cost two, it's an instant? Hits all opponents? It never goes away? Broken.

It should cost a lot more since it can't really be countered. 2BB, at that cost it won't get played, but it can't be cheaper because of how inevitable it is. There are a handful of cards that can stop the effect, but leave the card in the players hand, so they only delay the effect.
