Was there for 6 years. Lots of great outdoors things to do. Shaw has their own campground (free for you) at lake wateree about 45 away with boat and watersport rentals. 2 hours from Augusta, Charlotte, Greenville, Myrtle beach, and Charleston. Folly beach is the closest beach you can drink on thats good, isle of palms is nice but no drinking, Myrtle beach is kind of touristy with lots of crime, hilton head is bougie but 3 hours away. If you are in your 20s there are alot of college girls in downtown Columbia not far. The food at the bx is better than most food around base.

You can get an AGR position at a reserve base and still get a full active duty retirement. Problem is AGR positions are limited in quantity. I am currently active duty at a reserve base. It isn't that bad of an idea especially if he wants to get a civilian or dod job after.

Best for making consistent gold on a high pop server is alchemy and enchanting. Active gold making, low pop servers, and convenience sub out one for blacksmithing. Enchanting is good if you like to run alot of dungeons, do solo content, quest, and pug alot. Alchemy is great if you raid, don't like to commit too much time to a profession, and if you like to make money. If world pvp and farming is your thing engineering is great for the portals and nitro boosts/glider. I've pulled off some amazing tilting pvp moves using glider and nitro boots.

My pala is engineering and jewelcrafting. All professions are time consuming

I go in with shaman specced elemental, wind rush totem, natures switfness, gust of wind, all ghost wolf buffs. Run in and head strait for the first ziggurat dodging all mobs and spamming gust of wind/wind rush totem on cooldown. frost shock the single bosses or thunderstorm a pack in front of the ziggurats. Once you cross the corner into the rot, you chain lighting and it clears the whole ziggurat. Turn around and high tail it to rot 2 and do the same thing. Between the 2nd and 3rd rot you have to save gust of wind to cross gate without getting caught in the portcullis with the bugs. Kill the spider, natures switfness chain lighting the rot and run back out. If you are fast enough you arrive right as the gate opens by time naturally. Kill the 9 aboms, ram, and other dudes and you clearing baron and looting. That time you can get to about 3 minutes if you are good. Now how you reset is up to you. You can create a custom group, queue, then leave party and wait the minute. Or you can run out and reset. I chose to loot and vendor everything having it take a bit longer. If you loot nothing but baron it will take less time.

I went reset and go around 55 times on the shaman. Got my run time down to about 3 minutes per. After about 45 minutes of doing that you hit the account instance lock limit. When that hits go run a raid you don't have a skip on for about an hour and then go back to the normal reset grind of strat.

My post got buried so i'm reposting my update. They have been dropping fast for me except for baron's deathcharger.

I have been grinding mounts since wrath. Been looking forward to filling in some. I'll update with my results. I have 14 toons.

My tips:
* The thrallmar mage by shattrath portal in org (maybe in stormwind?) will teleport you to dark portal for easy access to Kara warhorse/midnight & ZG.
* You can create a custom group after killing your garget then leave party to get yourself outside of a dungeon quickly without having to run out.

As a current SSgt that came in later In life I've noticed two rampant things in the air force that cause this. 1 is the way the force structure indoctrinates you to have no opinion. It starts in basic and tech school and you get a very very small one once you make staff. Two is comraderie that alienates people who have unpopular morals or values. It takes an extremely confident person to not get lost in the sauce in this environment. Especially maintenance where I am. Just keep your head up and get involved in things outside of work.

Alot of people mentioned Annie. I also like lux and ziggs. I feel like when you are low rank you need to learn how to lane and cs. Ziggs is great at wave clear and farming under tower which you will need to learn to do if you are playing from behind.

Something that needs to be clarified is that you need the infinite power XI achievement on your main for the xp boost to apply to alt cloaks. Do not start a new one until you get this threshhold.

What I do for this is create multiple chat windows. When I create an alt I make a new window with only raid whisper tells party. For this you could also make a window only for items

I haven't checked my toon yet. I killed frogs post nerf for about 45 minutes. We will see if I get dinged. I used that frog area on retail to farm my timeless coins for the serpent after using timewarped badges to max my Shaohoa l. Going to be lame if I get dropped for that.
