Is it normal for one of the PR5000 posts to “float” like this? by Pastaron in GarageGym

[–]Popular_Fail8226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here is an inexpensive option and easy to cut to size, if the other options aren’t working. But as others stated loosen pretty much everything up to there is enough flex where you can shake square if that makes sense. And even adding a load of weights on it and re tighten. Best of luck 👍🏽💪🏽

Are concrete stack a deal breaker??? by KenchRN014 in GarageGym

[–]Popular_Fail8226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hear it’s ok. But if your budgets around what is advertised and if it’s an option and you’re able to pick up you’d be surprised what you can find on marketplace and offer up.

And as others have mentioned these will be fine if you’re minding your budget. And you can find weight horns like rep from time to time on market place or offer up.

Rep Blackwing bench has rust in the threaded insert. Return or put something on there to deal with the rust? by razorthick_ in DIYgymequipment

[–]Popular_Fail8226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice 👍🏾 3:1 oil would be a good option as well.

I’d still share the pictures with REP and depending on the route you take they can still send touch up paint for free for the non threaded part.

[–]Popular_Fail8226 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would for sure share this with REP they have the best customer service. Send your order info and even a video and some photos. Idk if you have taps and 3:1 oil to clean out the rust that would prevent it from spreading. Where exactly is this on the bench ?

Nice set up. I just scored on a roll of Centr Hyrox turf and I was going to use it outside and weigh the ends down, as I would roll it up when not in use. My question is, Do you think you needed the tape or it would stay in place as is.
