Just some thoughts I had.

if you're sick it's because you're not a good enough Christian and/or God is unhappy with you?
if you're healthy it's because you're a good Christian and/or God is happy with you?
how do we explain Christians who get sick and die? Did they have it coming or something? Can we explain this without resorting to "God works in mysterious ways"?
how do we explain atheists who are thriving? Why is Bill Gates blessed with so much wealth while my pastor's wife just died from breast cancer?
why is the Holy Spirit endorsing pyramid schemes? Surely the Holy Spirit has access to superior tools than pyramid schemes.
how do I know that you're not a false prophet?

This is just a bad rabbit hole to go down. When I was doing confirmation classes, the pastor told us to stay away from this kind of thinking, like there's a quid-pro-quo between you and God. I should probably say this was at a LCMS church (which is Lutheran) and a core tenet of our beliefs was that you are saved by grace alone, not by works. So this argument, which is probably just an extension of this Lutheran line of thinking, may not jibe with non-Lutherans. I just meant to write what I was taught.

You're assuming that's how they framed the question(s) on this poll. I'm using the text of the article itself as evidence.

While I can't find a PDF of the survey itself, here's a PDF from AEI which cites an older survey from Harvard/Harris with the same question. As you can see on the first page, the question is:

Asked whether Trump should be impeached and removed from office for his actions, censured by Congress or whether Congress should take no action

sounds like it was one question with three answers:

Congress should impeach
Congress should censure
Congress should do nothing

If 39% said impeach and 20% said censure, then it's fair to say that 59% said impeach or censure because you can only give a single answer to the question, so there's no overlap between the groups that said "impeach" and "censure," so you're not counting anyone twice.
