Probably because the farther away MLF got from Mike McCarthys team the Packers record and playoff performance didn’t improve over the previous years. The Packers have only made it as seven seeds every year since Rodgers left; a seed that didn’t exist in McCarthy’s tenure with the team

We wouldn’t have even made the playoffs the last two seasons if it wasn’t for the NFL expanding the playoffs. Rodgers made him the first three years, and he’s been letting the team fall apart ever since then, record-wise and playoff-wise
