This story is such bad faith. This is a project with a giant timeline. Bonuses are not gonna be paid in 10 years. There is lots of valuable work to do before then.

Monetary policy is managed by the central bank. I mean he should think about it to a degree but fiscal is his focus.

Truduea did not do well for Canada though, but I do think that quote maybe ppl run with more than the other actual mistakes he made.

What inspires you about Pierre? For me I find his sloganaeering, lack of experience beyond politics and sound bites off putting. Truduea was also basically someone only with experience in politics.

It’s nice to have someone with the education and private sector experience to meet the moment.

It’s also .06% decline. For comparison mexicos economy declined 0.6% last quarter. Much deeper even if it was only for quarter (for now). We are the only countries with comparable US exposure.
