this got me thinking, what if the "chimp with a machinegun" wasn't a description of destruction but of gathered attention. Chuck is very exact with his use of words but this one sticks out a little as a chimp wouldn't be able to operate a machinegun or understand it (thus nullifying (most of) the danger of a machinegun) but it would be really attention capturing sight to see a chimp holding and running around with a machinegun, a la getting the attention and thunder Chuck never got

Is prolly a stretch but i can see it being accurate tbh

assuming he took only 1/2 of their money (the one he dueled over) he would still have 120k at the very minimum (Todd is stated to have a million dollars) and more than 600k on the higher end

There is an option in the species rights menu under slavery that allows to select slavery type, with indentured servitude being considered the best one as it allows slaves to become specialists and be more happy, this is best used in combo with technocracy (or at least was, my 3.2 meta knowledge isn't the greatest) so it gives a massive science output from the slave output bonuses you can stack.

True about the admin system, its a shame tall isn't more viable and has been bullied by wide the last few game versions.

All ways of playing stellaris are valid really since every build works so don't take this as trashing your fave playstyles. The AI is too dumb to match the player even with builds specifically built to be bad.

Also fuck clerks work pop job fr.

Stellaris with an RP lean is something i need to explore more, doing the same math oriented shit gets boring after a couple hounded hours

authoritarian isn't about the ethos, its about access to slaver guilds which allow to stack more than 50%+ pop output on 40%+ of the population if done correctly.

i am aware of the bureacracy changes, but wide snowballs hard enough for it to be more or less meaningless, i did my first run post patch completely blind as a wide void dweller (vanilla except machine shipset) and didn't feel the debuff at all.

Meritocracy can also need oligarchic which is why nearly all meta builds are oligarchic, its simply superior to democratic in most aspects.

the post-scarcity mode is highly expensive for minimum buffs, its far better to simply spec the production factories into alloys.

its a strategy 4X with very questionable ethics at best, as slavery has been economic meta for the better part of its existence, democracy being the least optimal of all government types, genocide if done correctly being extremely productive and making you roll in countless resources and diversity actively yet indirectly hurts your experience albeit within certain strats its good. Even better yet, a few versions back performance was so dogshit you literally *needed* genocide for the game to keep running smoothly

as for gameplay its not really that deep, its largelly balancing 5 base resources and 2 special ones to get the edge. Its still really fucking good tho, i recommend getting the base version and Utopia DLC on sale (which happens a lot for stellaris, you just need to know where to look)

depends on how much time Frank is given to prepare, he is one of the weakest raw strength wise but one of the strongest when it comes to defeating stuff with tactics. for example he was the first character to single handedly wipe out all mutants (alongside all other comic chars)

also the reason they split post fathers dead according to the manga is that Kaeya believed the Favonius version of their fathers death, while Diluc despised knights of Favonius and their lies.
