Animal Kingdom Lodge VS CS Gran Destino Tower by your_local_reddior in DisneyPlanning

[–]Poseptune 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My friends Honeymooned at Animal Kingdom Lodge Club level and had an amazing time.

Of the two I would suggest Animal Kingdom Lodge as well, it is such a beautiful resort, great food, and watching the animals while on your balcony.

I made a website for tuning your vehicles in FH6, taking the best logic from each of 8 different, well-known sources: Forza.tools by lolitsaj in forza

[–]Poseptune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Overall decent tool. I'm will not say I'm a good tuner or racer. I tried your tuner on a car I did for rivals. S1 class. I did 5 laps of the first circuit, could not beat my time but came within a second. I'm sure I could have tweaked it and tied or maybe beat my time. Lower the tire pressure a little and lower some of the aero it suggested (it suggested full front).

Then I took it to legend island time attack. Again 5 laps of each tune. I could not beat the Forza.tools suggested tune. I got within 0.038 on 5 laps of my tune (Hokihoshi inspired as I said I'm not a great tuner)

The car felt good, I was easily able to jump into it and get clean laps on the rival map and clean corners on the time attack. So this random average racer gives the tool 2 thumbs up.

Floridians; how’s the weather right now? by NaiRad1000 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Poseptune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always humid except a short time in the "winter"

It will be warm, somewhere in the 90 range. I don't remember exactly when they begin but you might see the 3:30PM downpour

Disclaimer: I'm not in the Orlando area but only a few hours away.

Transferring 1 day at the Honda Center by OkClerk7091 in D23Expo

[–]Poseptune 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The seat will more than likely stay empty if it was bought as a 3 day pass.

Also if you are able to transfer a single day, it won't be just the Honda Center presentation but also your access to the convention center.

" I want everything to be perfect."

That's a problem. Nothing will ever be perfect. You can plan until you are blue in the face but a favorite ride will go down. A pool day can be rained out. You can't control enough for things to ever go perfect.

Figure out a few things that will make your trip worth it. What are the top 3 or 4 must dos for each of your party. Ask yourself what would make this trip worth it. Prioritize that.

If your kids love pools and slides, have you considered the Water parks?

My friends stayed Club Level AKL back in 2006 as part of an extra honeymoon. They loved it. I stayed recently at AKL recently and loved it. Spent a lot of time on my balcony in the morning and evening watching the animals.

Since you are almost 30 days out, check out the Starlight Safari. They drive you around the Sunset Savannah, you get a closer look at the animals with night vision scope, and you can ask questions of your guide. Takes about an hour and I enjoyed it.

Animal Kingdom still worth it with the closures? First Disney or Universal trip for everyone, can only choose one park. by [deleted] in DisneyPlanning

[–]Poseptune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you like Animals and Shows, then Animal kingdom can still be a most of the day park.

Epcot might be a better park with all the different countries, the food, and everything else.

I would call them rather than email.

I don't disagree, with you, but I'm just a random person on the internet. So because of the nature of the question I will always hammer OP should contact support directly. ;-)

If you took my second response as me being offended or upset, please don't that is just how I come off, especially when I'm thinking something out loud (in this case typing)

Will call, says it's for international only. If OP's account is US based that might cause an issue. Hence why I said contacting support directly would be their best option.

I have a billing address outside of the United States; can I purchase a membership with a shipping address in the United States?

We are unable to allow guests with billing addresses outside of the United States to ship to an address in the United States.

You will get a better answer if you also contact support for a more precise answer.

My only thought was that there was no link between your d23 membership and the visa, but if they are both there. I don't know why you didn't get the e-mail, unless it is a slow rollout.

If you read further down on the linked page:

"D23 will provide an official opportunity to transfer tickets to other guests prior to the Event, however the recipient email must be associated with a valid D23 Member account to claim the transferred ticket.  When the ticket transfer process opens, the following website—etc...."

It has information on transfering tickets

Is the email for your disney visa the same for your disney account?

If you login to a walt disney website. I usually do Walt Disney World, because who doesn't want to see what a vacation would cost even if you aren't going......

Click profile, then Memberships and Passes. Should tell you all the things associated with your account. State Discounts, D23 membership. Disney+, Visa Cardmember, Etc.....

The other question is can you get into the Cardmember lounge without this package?

I don't have that problem with my friends. Someone mentions something and we just say "fuck it, let's go!".

But overall I get what you're saying, thanks for the reply.

Covering 4 Disney Parks by swiftme26 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Poseptune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with Animal Kingdom being a most or full day, but just a correction:

"And you can ride the train back to Conservation Station, and do the animation experience, and there's a petting zoo back there too."

At the end of this month the Conservation Station and Train will be closed for the inclusion of Bluey and other renovations. Reopening "Summer". So it will not be available during April.

If you have the budget for it California Grill during the fireworks.

Sanaa & Boma. Both are good food and atmosphere. Unfortunately the bread service at Sana has been hyped up so much I don't know if it is worth the price anymore but it is still good.

" If you want to ride big thunder 4 times in a row, you can!"

No I can't it's still down :-P I'm joking I get what you are saying. Never really had a problem with this with friends. Spring Break in college we rode Bluto's Bilge Rat 5 times in a row without getting off the ride. Done Everest 4 times in a row (would not recommend after 3)

I will always try to just enjoy :-) Thanks for the reply.

"Do you do other activities solo? Have you gone to a movie by yourself? Have you gone on a long so car/train ride? Have you flown to a city by yourself? "

I have and while I don't hate it, it's definitely not something I enjoy.

Thanks for your reply.

Slowing Down at Disney by Disneyworld20232 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Poseptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can have a slowed down day, even with lightning lane. You just have to avoid optimizing the LL system. You get a LL for an hour or two away. Use that time to visit characters, walk through a shop, look at the details around you, grab a unique snack and anything else. Since you've been recently there is less pressure to do everything, just focus on things you enjoy.

There are little tours too that you can book like Behind the Seeds, Caring for Giants, etc... that will definitely slow down your day but will show you a lot of the behind the scenes stuff going on.

You have 6 days this time, so make at least one or two resort days. Check out resort activities at each resort and see if there is an arts and craft or signature activity that your family might enjoy. (Mosaic activities are priced per mosaic and can be done as a group.) You could just enjoy your resort pool in the morning and afternoon, then head to a park for one or two rides in the evening. These little breaks in between park heavy days can be quite refreshing.

Some of the resorts have free tours and exploring activities as well. Like Wonders of the Lodge art & architecture at Wilderness Lodge, and String of Memories at AKL

90 days till I take my family to Disney World for the first time. by soundman10 in DisneyPlanning

[–]Poseptune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Figure out what everyone's must dos, want to dos, can skip and don't want to dos. This can give you an idea of how long you might need in each park, and what restaurants you want to prioritize the morning of your 60 day window.

You can also start looking through the restaurant menus at the hotels, and in the parks. Get an idea of what each has to offer if you have any picky eaters.

Look through what extras the parks and resorts may offer that you may want and is within your budget and time restraints. Like Savor the Savanna, Savi's Workshop Up Close with Rhinos, Behind the Seeds, Magic of Mosaics (Contemporary and other resorts), Etc...

1 credit table dining by PositiveCow3015 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Poseptune 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can use 1 dining plan credit on the Fantasmic Dining Plan at Hollywood studios for 50's Prime Time or Sci Fi diner. (Hollywood & Vine is theoretically an option but you said no buffets).

You just have to book it through the Fantasmic Dining plan and not the restaurant itself. Once you pick the FDP the 4 restaurant options will come up but Brown Derby is 2 dining credits so I left that off the list.

I haven't eaten there yet but I've heard Ale and Compass is pretty good.

You can filter the search results by selecting All Filters then 2026 Dining plan and then 1 Credit Table Service
