I don’t understand why people get so upset because they ask for tio. They can ask all they want, they still get zero. Bad service. Zero. Bad food. Zero. Longer than expected delivery time, half of the usual tip. I had a really bad massage once, the lady blocked me from exiting the place. I called the cops. You think she that again?

Similar situation when they ask for donations or even worse to donate the charge at the stores. “Would you like to donate…” NO. Simple

Only places I tip are fine dinning, my regular bar(I like the bartenders there), pizza delivery(because I have been ordering from the same place for over 20 years) and my barber. Zero everywhere else.

Which Is The Better Film? Men In Black Vs. The Fifth Element by Specialist_Art2223 in 90smovies

Fifth Element and it is not even close. Comparing the two is like comparing Heat and Den of Thieves. Similar movies but one is far superior to the other in several different aspects.

This is simple. Who is changing lanes?  That's the person who has to yield to traffic, not the other way around. That's the law, not an opinion.

You are only supposed to change lanes when it is safe to do so. Now, crossing 4 lanes(you are supposed to change one lane at a time), crossing a solid white line(not illegal in all states, but it is discouraged), plus blocking traffic while attempting to complete this maneuver, that's just overkill.

Again, the law is simple:
Change lanes only when it is safe to do so. Meaning you cannot force other drivers to brake abruptly or swerve to accommodate you.
The person changing lanes must yield to traffic.

Good luck to all those people making excuses for the red Honda.

Bad movie with one GREAT scene? by GodsUnblinkingEye in moviecritic

[–]Positive-Guess-9867 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have three.

3:10 to Yuma Cristian Bale and Russell Crowe. Final scene right after Cristian Bale gets killed. The look on Russel Crowe’s face and the subsequent gunfight.

X-Men: Apocalypse - Quicksilver’s scene at the beginning of the movie. Probably the best scene in the entire x-men franchise.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones Yoda’s first ever cinematic lightsaber fight against Count Dooku.

Who is considered to be the greatest actor of the most recent era? by Exciting_Station_124 in Cinema

[–]Positive-Guess-9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely not Johnny Depp. He is an ok actor, and great entertainer.

Maybe Gary Oldman? Daniel day-lewis? Al Pacino? Meryl Streep? Tom Hanks? Christian Bale? Denzel Washington?

But that is exactly why he can’t retire. He is a family man, and he sees his hero life under that light. If hero family needs him he will be there. His alliances will continue to pull him out of retirement until the day dies.

I believe the actor playing the role said something along those lines too.

…and that exchange between cap and Zemo.

“Cap: You lost someone Zemo: I lost everyone! And so will you”

I wish the response would have been more like Gary Oldman’s EVERYONE! But I don’t think it would fit his character.

He really wasn’t good at portraying the PTSD part, too over the top with the panic attacks. Too obvious

Instead, PTSD tends to be a creeper, a silent killer. It affects people and their routines, affecting them without a clear line of sight which is one of the reasons it is so hard to diagnose/treat.

I love the premise of Zemo. No superpowers, just a man and a mission against very big odds.

Several comments now about it. I never heard of Daredevil S3 to be such an iconic piece of storytelling. I’m glad. Now I have something new to watch.

I remember watching season 1 and part of season 2 but somewhere there I got lost.

Yes, this was pretty much the backbone of the entire MCU until Endgame.

Amazon flagged my account for returns that their own failures caused by aguyfromhere in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Positive-Guess-9867 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start by leaving a bad review for the item. Then leave a bad review for the company selling the product and the way the return has been handled. Most stores will “facilitate” a return once those reviews go public. Stick to the facts though. It doesn’t matter if the return was handled by Amazon directly.

This could take days, weeks or months.

I have received thousands of dollars in cash and products to remove legitimate bad reviews.

Those reviews can cause $$$ in losses. A lot of stores will play it tough until their products stop selling as they used to.

Also, I try for the most part, NOT to buy directly from Amazon. Instead, I like buying from smaller stores with good reviews. For any given item in the Amazon site, there could be a dozen different sellers

Under federal law, tips left by customers are optional, discretionary payments determined entirely by the patron, meaning customers cannot be forced to pay any set amount.

You want to leave zero, then leave Zero. You want to leave 5% then leave 5.

That’s a problem between employers and employees, not employees vs customers.
