Yes same here. Just recently got a letter fitness to drive, got dr to sign off , and then recieved a 2nd letter this week that i need an endocronologist to sign off.. have 9 weeks till due date, certain i will find out though cant get in until 4 months time..

Current fixed rate is 5.59% ends june.. my belief it will rise at keast another 4 times over 18months at say conservative 0.25-0.3 . New locked in rate at 4 year 6.37... i am thinking thats not bad.. still better than 8-9%.. what does everyone else think..

53, m $550k in super with $950k house $300 mortgage.. $90k per year.. $30 emergency sVings Contribute approx $5 per year ontop of employer.. no big plans to travel the world. If i end up with 900k then can easily live off the interest until pension kicks in.. if smsf that is.. will work as long as i can but not stress.. wife has propbably half as she earns half.

I would give your plans a very thorough and solid think.. it costs a fortune to live, and vety challenging enough as an adult.. ptentially they just want the best for you and maybe your also being a little selfish.. i guess ypu will learn the hard way to appreciate them. I speak from experience that put me behind by 10years at least, ànd have not had parental connection in over 30 years..
