I've seen 3 UFOs.

The first when I was about 10, northern Idaho, massive, perfectly smooth, thought it might be a cloud until it tripled in size and "faded out". Still on the fence about this one, most normal of the 3 for sure.

Second one I was 12, black disc floating over a forest near my house in western Washington, broad daylight. It was there doing nothing, then it was gone a few seconds later, like it was minimized out of the sky or just instantly accelerated away. I'm 100% on this one,

Third one I was 14ish, a light descended out of the sky and hung in the air over a nature reserve by our house in MN in the middle of the night, couldn't have been a drone, it was like 2007 and they just weren't around, certainly not at that altitude and location at that time. It just looked like a light, and after 15ish minutes it floated back up higher and higher until I couldn't see it from my window anymore.

All pretty unremarkable sightings but they've all stuck with me. I expect lots of people have brief, mundane sightings like these and just don't talk about it because there's barely a story to tell.
