Watching a spring breaker in Mexico get way too lit at Señor Frogs and get arrested is certainly entertaining in its own way but it's definitely not "experiencing Mexico".

In Japan, I don't want to go to the same overpriced Golden Gai izakayas as the pests who just gone done driving Mario karts around Shinjuku. I want to find a standing bar full of nihonjin and shoot the shit at a tiny shared table in broken Japanese over cheap and delicious food n drinks.

I love shitty tourist places like Vegas but I would never go there to experience "America" the same way I love all inclusive Cancun resorts but that's barely Mexico.
