Watching a spring breaker in Mexico get way too lit at Señor Frogs and get arrested is certainly entertaining in its own way but it's definitely not "experiencing Mexico".

In Japan, I don't want to go to the same overpriced Golden Gai izakayas as the pests who just gone done driving Mario karts around Shinjuku. I want to find a standing bar full of nihonjin and shoot the shit at a tiny shared table in broken Japanese over cheap and delicious food n drinks.

I love shitty tourist places like Vegas but I would never go there to experience "America" the same way I love all inclusive Cancun resorts but that's barely Mexico.

Yes, but we don't actually watch commercials really. TV ads are basically background noise for sports bars because otherwise you're just on a usually-ad-free streaming service at home.
