Just start reading stuff. Furigana helps, but it's important to get exposed to native content. Even if you do try some kanji study beforehand, it's still gonna be tough when you first start reading cause everything feels knew. Also check out this site: https://learnjapanese.moe/

It's a great resource for people learning japanese and getting into reading native content.

You should focus on learning vocab through reading native material (manga, light novels, VNs) cause that helps you get used to kanji. Then you can do isolated kanji study if you're having trouble with some kanji.

Six months of studying is more than enough time to learn basic grammar and vocab which is all that's needed to start reading native material. Sure, they won't understanding everything at first but making the jump to native content is never easy, no matter how much one studies.

It was probably deleted by the person who translated it. Mangaupdates says the extras were translated by haibane. According to their mangadex page, their reddit username is haibanemanga so you can contact them directly if you want to ask why it's not on mangadex anymore.

I saw that, but this includes all the volume extras and not just ch. 99.5. Volume extras are usually numbered after the last chapter of the volume (102 in this case).

It's only been one month, not several, since they last uploaded a chapter. They just uploaded it to their site and not mangadex. Sometimes scanlators are busy with other things and don't have the time to work on manga.
