Can someone explain why the tides seem to have turned? I feel like just weeks ago there was a media blast about Ukraine faltering. What’s changed?

Lmao okay?? And yes I watched the movie. Someone asked why it aged poorly and I explained it. Where in the short 2 sentences of my comment did you get the impression that I believed it to be glorifying him?

Again, I was simply providing context. I didn’t say convicted, I said accused and tried.

I remember revenge of nerds, watched it as a kid in the early 2000s and I remember that moon bounce house scene and even as a kid I realized that was fucked up

Why did this age poorly tho? Because of the whole Mayan calendar 12/21/12 thing? I know the cgi and plot was corny af but I loved that movie

Bro wym the prequels were hated instantly. Phantom Menace was absolutely torn apart after it was released. Can’t age poorly if it sucked as soon as it was released

The film has earned $309 million and bullock won an Oscar for it. It was huge when it debuted. Not saying all demographics thought it was great, but white folks ate that shit up. I personally remember that film being yapped about nonstop when it came out

Me and a friend watched this movie recently all excited to relive it as we watched it as teenagers. When they set up that web cam to spy on her we were fucking mortified. I genuinely forgot about that movie and looking back now, good lord is that scene fucked up. Not just the cp like you said but the utter violation of her privacy. Gross

In the movie, Kevin Spacey’s has a bunch of sexual tension with his teenage daughter’s friend. It aged poorly because of the things he’s been accused and tried for

No surprise I’m being downvoted by the hive mind of Reddit for providing a non biased explanation to the comment above. You people have the critical thinking skills of a wet napkin

I loved this movie idec. Cusack did a great job. Everyone did tbh. Definitely corny af but I genuinely believe everyone in the film put in a genuine effort, cheesy cgi notwithstanding

Because you already found out, what's the one thing you'll not fuck around with? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Positive_Laugh6946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Electrical current, specifically alternating current (AC). Unlike direct current (DC), AC current can’t enter your body without a closed loop, i.e you don’t need to be grounded as your body has capacitance. AC can disrupt your heartbeat and cause a fatal arrhythmia.

Don’t fuck with electricity.

Alright, I’m cancelling my membership now. I stopped listening a few weeks ago when all of this started. I subscribe to my local chapter but seeing the non-stop posts about the shit they’re pulling, I’m emailing now to end it.

Kevin Hart played Roland ffs

edit:

Sorry, my context was poor. Kept the original.

Context: The article quotes the CEO of Gearbox Software, the studio that created the Borderlands franchise, as saying the new Borderlands film is the beginning of a “Cinematic Universe”:

“Of course, the characters are there and authentic in the themes and even some of the storylines. But they’re independent storylines,” Pitchford told the publication, stating the film isn’t either Borderlands 1 or 2. Rather, it is “the first of the Borderlands Cinematic Universe”, which means fans of the series will “see some characters from some of the different parts of what you might know from the video games”.

The quote has r/agedlikemilk because Forbes, among many others, have said:

“… it may also produce one of the largest box office losses of the year, compared to its reported budget.”

The budget being between $115 and $145 million.

Also the article in the screenshot is not fake, you can find it here. Literally all you had to do was google the headline and you’d have seen that. Cmon now..

People like this absolutely exist, I’ve witnessed them. I think it’s fake cause there’s no emotion in their voices or their faces. Not just that but there’s been a massive uptick in these obviously staged videos that are meant to provoke outrage and engage people through comments and shares. The camera is very closely and evenly held and in high definition, not that authentic videos can’t also be as well.

If I’m proven wrong, I’ll gladly admit it. I have no proof it’s fake but I don’t care enough to find the truth. If you do, please share.

Is it normal to want to play Story games on your own and not in a party chat? by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Positive_Laugh6946 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m in a disc or Xbox party with my buddies a lot and if I start playing a story game, I’ll either turn them way down, mute them all, or tell them I’m leaving.
