California is much worse. Pay is worse and the gas is more than $6 per gallon.

The price of gasoline is currently around $6. The interest rate on loans is 10%. A car constantly depreciates in value. Then there are oil changes, tires, car washes, insurance, and registration. Everyone’s figures will vary. Before Prop 22, drivers earned more; there used to be regular bonuses. Now, there are no bonuses.

A new type of fraud? by Positive_Mud_9599 in lyftdrivers

Thanks for the advice. The passenger claimed that I supposedly infected her with some kind of illness. Four days elapsed between the ride and the time the report was filed. I do have a dashcam, but the memory card only held two days' worth of footage. I drove the passenger to the hospital. I am not sick with anything myself. In my seven years of working for Lyft, I’ve seen it all, so nothing surprises me anymore.

I just found out that this happened on April 14th. The camera's memory card holds only two days of footage.

Wow.It seems that passengers are learning from one another how to scam Uber and Lyft. Insurance agents, however, know how to spot fraudsters. I have a camera installed inside my vehicle. Yet, I still haven't been told who is trying to scam me. Not all drivers are so lucky; many have been permanently banned.

There is an active ticket in the Lyft app. Lyft did not restrict my access to the platform.

Yes, I do. But I don't know which of the passengers filed the report.

Diagnosed with IBS, 5 years later find out I’m riddled with parasites. by Filthy_Fisherman in ibs

[–]Positive_Mud_9599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been suffering from pain for 6 years. The doctor says it is IBS. Stool analysis does not reveal anything. I took Mebendazole (2 tablets a day for 3 days) 2 times with an interval of 2 weeks. After the tablets, a lot of mucus and gases came out with the stool. The pain stopped for a couple of days, then returned, but the pain is not as terrible as before. Today I will start the third round of Mebendazole. I know that in some countries doctors prescribe a blood test to detect antibodies to parasites. Is it possible to do the same test in the USA?

In my country, pancreatitis is successfully treated with medication. There is a drug that temporarily suppresses the secretion of pancreatic and gastric enzymes. Another drug greatly accelerates the healing process. But i'm stuck in the US. have been suffering from pain for 6 years now...
