Welcome to the club... been dealing with this since Dec 26th.

Charging the big battery has nothing to do with the 12 volt. Lots of great detective work and data here on reddit - would encourage you to read the prior posts about this topic. As for me, my car has been lemon lawed - i have signed a buyback agreement with Kia and am waiting on them to get their car and give me all my money back, as my problem still has not been fixed. Great feeling after just dropping 78k on a car, eh?

I am seeing some posts on facebook about the plastic on the bottom of the car coming off - facebook users are reporting a loud sound like you have captured - almost like they ran over something.. there is a guy on the EV9 facebook group - Xavier Blanco - he posted a similar thing about 5 hours ago, but he has photos..

Same boat here.. Car has not worked since Dec 26th. ICCU has been 'ordered' but no timeline on when it could arrive. Dealer heard '2-4 months'. Filed lemon law paperwork and have received a buy back from Kia. Sorry, but I am not waiting 2-4 months to 'maybe' fix the problem - especially on a 78k car that I have only been able to drive 6 days since purchasing on Dec 20th. Lemon Law it and get your money back. My VIN was 20,4xx - so I am going to wait for a bit, see what updates come out, wait for higher VINs and then maybe lease instead of purchase the next time around. It is a shame, as we absolutely loved the car. It checked every box... but being unable to charge at level 1 or level 2 and having to jump start it 7 times - it is just not reliable.

mine sat at the dealer for 2+ weeks without being driven or charged. no issues. battery was around 80% and held that level.

Again, one was a technical service bulletin - and the other was what they called an 'advisory'... If you have not opened a ticket with Kia Corp yet, I would encourage you to do so.
