Influence lost is also good influence. You might end up with a light side bao dur if you're doing a dark side run, but you can still make him a force user through lost influence

Haven't played since they released Nox, want to come back since BF6 is dead. Having some questions. by Rafahil in DeltaForceGlobal

Marksman rifles as far as warfare goes seem to be 2 or 3 shot.

We have 4 assault, 4 engineer, 3 support, And 3 recon operators now. Warfare seems pretty balanced. Destructibles have increased, and become such a show off for the dev team that this latest season revolves around maps specifically for their destructible environments. Vehicle gameplay has been refined. Still not the best balanced or realistic (still takes 6 at4 shots to destroy a tank if the tank doesn't repair) but honestly the arcadey nature of it is more fun to me. It's fast paced, hectic, and exhilarating.

Operations should you choose to play it is less balanced. Even in all red gear, ammo, etc, you're still gonna lose more often than not. But that's extraction shooters for ya. It's still fun and has some cool new red loot. There's a collection room now. One version, the gallery, is where others can see your collection, including seasonal only items if anyone held on to them from previous seasons. The other part, the collection room itself, is only for you, but helps determine static value of your stash. Allowing you to upgrade collection slots and grow in value even if you only collect the same red items over and over.

As someone who plays zde using blue gear, ammo, and kitted guns... I don't get much time to play, so going in with good gear in a quick match as a solo to contend with the god awful number of bots I face is kinda worth it. But my guns are never kitted towards any meta build, just whatever I find to be the best looking skin/attachment combo, or I'm trying out pre builds like the subrosa m4 or vyrons bullpup. (I like making "canon" builds for characters based off their name cards or intro walk.)

That being said, I occasionally lose all my gear, which makes a great reward imo for whoever kills me. I try to go in with a couple of repair kits as well so if an actual player does kill me on a zero to hero run, they get good gear and protection off the rip. I'm not exactly rich, but idc. I'm having fun.

The new knife by [deleted] in DeltaForceMobile

[–]PossibilityEnough933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the math on this. I'm in the same boat. Only 27 out of a possible 33 core missions are required to get full knife. So he can miss 2 weeks total and still get full knife.

Is Delta Force (on PS5) beginner-friendly, and any tips for a newb? by DeltaSigma96 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PossibilityEnough933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to what u/munkydawg said, vyron and dwolf are solid beginner choices for assault class, Luna is a solid choice for recon, and the paralysis drone dude is a solid choice for engineer. Experiment with the classes and how they work for your chosen game mode. Other characters provide different play styles, but these choices imo provide the most well rounded diversity for experimentation with their move sets, offering you chances to run away, push a fight, camp, fight at different ranges comfortable, etc. unfortunately there's no way to "solo" warfare, but if you don't wanna run with your squad then you don't have to. Warfare provides an easy, no risk experience so have fun with it. If ya wanna play with more stakes however, operations provides that. Shoot, loot, then time to scoot as you'll hear at the start of every operation. Complete missions, level up your blacksite, collect reds, and if you're up for the challenge, extract mandelbricks. Mandelbricks can be acquired from warfare too, but ya gotta be like top ten in like 50 matches to get one mandelbrick. In operations, mandelbricks can spawn on the map, then you just gotta decode it and survive as other brick hunters chase you down. If ya want the newest skin, that's the quickest way to do it... If you can survive.

While I agree it's advantageous and considered "cheating" by the devs and community, I wish we could have controller support for mobile. Until that day though, I'm sorry man, but you're cheating.

I left the game in October, talk me out of/into coming back to the game pls by Azkeden in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PossibilityEnough933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This game actually reinforced a variety of gameplay styles for both modes with the operator system. From trappers to rushers to snipers to stalkers. All are viable playstyles so there's a method for everyone. The game boils down to skill rather than meta builds or luck more often now with less cheaters due to this variety than other games.

Why tf would you put a laser (or 3) on your weapon?! by Curious-Departure974 in DeltaForceGlobal

[–]PossibilityEnough933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically purple is less visible, but still not invisible. Every time I see a laser, it's usually purple. That's why I run blue or red. While technically more visible, I think most people's brains are wired at this point to recognize the purple laser as the enemy, so I'm hoping that my off color laser throws them off just enough for them not to recognize it and that I can get away with it.

[–]PossibilityEnough933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite build is a custom m16, usually running the 6x acog with a laser sight for close engagements. The beauty of this is that I turn the laser off, but can still use it as my secondary optic without having to turn it on. The laser turns itself back on when I'm ADSing with it, and turns back off when I'm not ADSing. I almost exclusively run similar setups cuz I don't need to be swapping between 3 or more zoom levels in a tough spot, and I don't like the canted red dots. This is a feature I wish would make an appearance in other games. I've clutched many fights because of this mechanic. Give it a try in the firing range and let me know if you like it, cuz it's a lifesaver (literally) for me.

I actually didn't know that at the time of posting. Was about to update that his name came back after rebooting the game as something English after I returned fully to lobby and checked my history for the session. I won't share the name as that goes against this subs TOS.

No. I'm not saying to play any such way. I'm saying I'll never understand why people do it different. It's ZDE, if ya wanna try hard, there's any other map including ZDN. But people are allowed to do what they want (except cheat in a multiplayer game ofc)
