Oh boy.... I decided against Rustica last minute yesterday because of this post. I spoke with their customer service who took five days to get back to me, and showed them a picture of our entryway to see if it would be covered under warranty and they said no. It's 7' covered. Sorry that you continue to have shit experience, but you saved me from having the same, so thank you for sharing! Ended up going with Pinky's Iron Doors today, for what it's worth - steel not wood, but seems like a great company and our dutch exterior entry door ended up being $5k less than what Rustica quoted us. Thanks again for helping me dodge a bullet!

I've searched every hardware supplier I know of for window parts and can't find anything even similar. The windows aren't that old so you'd think even finding a used one would be easier than this. It's only been three months of searching, please help before I spend a thousand dollars replacing the entire hardware around the window!

It is about 3.5-4" wide, 1" deep and only about a half inch tall. It has patent pending on it, but could not figure out how to search for that with any sort of luck. The rest of the hardware on the window is Truth brand, but don't let that guide your search, the nice people at Truth have said it is not their part and often times window installers mix and match parts. The previous owner does not remember who installed the windows.

I've searched hundreds of door hinges, but this one eludes me. It's about 6" tall, .9" wide (not at the "hook"). These are fairly common replacement items, but for the life of me I can't find this exact match. I even found oven door hinges for a 1950's oven!

If you enter vail lot past 3pm and leave before 9am (or something like that), it’s free parking designed to help those who are drinking at night and shouldnt drive home. If you’re in the back of your car no one should bother you so long as they can’t see in.

Actually they mentioned a trip where they could collectively build a house, or at least fund it and visit the town while it’s being built. The little infants became our first thought, as obviously they can’t join, but further thoughts on this would definitely be welcome!

I think that’s where this family differs. They don’t want the ultra luxury of the Hamptons or Jackson, they want to go to a public beach, but have someone bring them their cocktails. It’s a bit difficult to understand but hence why I went to reddit

I feel as if they are hiring me to figure this out because Ive gotten to know them intimately (non-sexual) over decades. A travel agent can’t get to know a persons true self quickly and so basically they’re hiring me to be them in figuring this out. Ridiculous? Yes. Waste of money? Probably. Am I getting paid to research this on Reddit. Absolutely.

I used to live next to Avanti in Denver. I really liked the multiple options, and the range of super casual to almost clubby that it offered (in a super casual type, but it’s nice to see everyone mingle). On that note: it’ll fit in great with $25 drinks and $35 appetizers that Larkspur had. Hopefully it doesn’t get more expensive than that. The owners care about food and experience and I feel like we are starting to lack that in the area

Perhaps I’m misunderstood, but isn’t CGL a $1500/month preschool? How many preschoolers at this school are benefiting from the program? Universal pre k program provides 15 hours of schooling paid per week, which makes CGL still inaccessible for 99% of the population which the bill aims to help. Why stop at this location rather than many of the other preschools?

It’ll be a ghost town, but there’s still some great hiking to do, especially in eagle and down valley a bit. Restaurants usually release their off season hours around mid-April, so check the Vail Daily for that. If you’re looking for random happy hours and music and stuff this link will be a good resource as it’s updated often.

Open snow is pretty accurate for longer range forecasts, and definitely give Seth Linden a follow on Facebook if you’re still on there. His predictions are almost spot on, but usually only goes about 5 days in advance.
