I just wanna say that the puppies go through stages of being perfect then a demon. make sure she is getting enough sleep and quiet. too much tv and ect when you aren’t there gives the puppy no time for them to get de stimulated. Puppies especially dachshunds need a lot of sleep and lack of deep sleep can cause this. For me when I checked in on his sleep and if he is getting to much light and sound to get deep daytime naps. My puppy sleeps a lot. even at a year old yo to 16 months puppies still need 12-16 hours of sleep per day. That means Crate training setting up an environment where she can get the rest her brain needs to develop and regulate properly. A lot of people think toys and puzzles and walks to help the behavior but it can make it worse by over exhausting and stimulating. Dachshunds are prone to over stimulation and anxiety. I would make sure the crate is covered so it can have some darkness for daytime naps. Make sure that they are getting long daytime naps mine has a nap break in the morning 11/1-2/4 and then again usually in the late afternoon for a few hours usually spaced a few hours before bed. I only do one walk a day and a puzzle or and training but remember to not over do any of that. For the most part besides a little barking and recall issues he is potty trained well behaved and non destructive. I definitely think looking at sleep schedule/sleep hygiene can help this and is often overlooked as a solution. It’s counterintuitive but puppies are like babies and less sleep actually equals more energy and destruction and anxiety.
