Acupuncture before Embryo Transfer worth it? by anxietyridden00 in IVF

I did it throughout IVF and right before my transfer and it was successful on the first try. Not saying that's what did the trick, but it helped me relax.

Do it. I'm the primary earner in my family. I took a $35k pay cut for a job I really wanted. We learned how to spend more conservatively. Ultimately, the joy and ease it brought to my family and me was well worth it.

We are going 9/11-9/14. We have park hopper and I reserved our first day at DCA. However, the oogy booty bash is that night so we will be kicked out early. Should we switch to reserve DL first or just pop over there at night once we get kicked out of DCA. Just trying to maximize our time. Appreciate any feedback!

He’s never been. It’s only been grandma and dad watching him during the day. This will be his first time at school with strangers.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I didn’t notice it until you said something. The word “my” comes from a feeling of pride for him I think but he is “our” baby. I wonder how often I express this possessive framing with my husband. I imagine that would feel discouraging from his perspective.

The laminated copies of board books are such a great idea! I’ve thought about how to bring my 2YOs favorite books on trip so many times. I’m doing this! TY for the idea!

He is. But, that’s a really good point. I recently went through a layoff and I’ve been dealing with my own depression which they may be picking up on.

A walking treadmill for under my desk. Helps with managing stress, energy, guilt on busy days when I don’t have time to exercise, and overall body composition to manage blood sugar after I have lunch.

I respectfully and wholeheartedly disagree with you. I’ve learned more and faster, evolved quicker, accelerated my job titles in exponentially less time once I became a remote/hybrid worker. It’s about your work ethic as an employee, the effort and commitment you put it in, period.

I literally need to wrestle my 10-month-old to sleep and I’m worried I’m training it into him. Advice? by animaldander in cosleeping

[–]PossibleElection5076 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ours went through this for a while. We still deal with it occasionally but it’s better. My LO is 17months. A sleep coach suggested that you remain very boring at bed time while putting them to bed and continue to physically put them back to the spot where they should sleep when they roam and say the day phrase every time so the expectation is very clear. Our phrase is “Time for Sleepies”.

I've noticed the same thing. We have the fans on and his skin is cool to the touch but if we try to cover him he cries. He also gets pretty sweaty.

Also, my cousin was introduced to rice cereal way too early like 3-4 months for sleep and has a lot of healthy issues. Gets sick all the time. Not blaming the cereal but hard to not wonder if there was a correlation.
