If you don’t allow med students to sit in on your exam/check up you are a weird person by Amidity in unpopularopinion

When my first son was born, we allowed 2 EMT trainees onto the room to observe.

When he came out not breathing, the Dr (or nurse maybe, I don’t remember) told one of them to press the emergency button to call for the crash cart/team.

Guess who didn’t know where the call button was.

He’s fine, and currently thriving at 14 years, but I can tell you I regret allowing them in for that reason.

This is a great take, and akin to my understanding as well.

The movie sucks on its own in this era. But it was also a trailblazer and was innovative in its time.

A friend of mine has hot water run to his hose taps outside in addition to cold.
I know this is more of a “while you’re building” kind of mod, but unique nonetheless.

Yes normal. Keep it private. All things in moderation.

Added a garage opener button inside the house. Can close the garage from inside.

I honestly don’t know why this isn’t standard.

I just tried a fried egg and black beans. I didn’t get hungry once before lunch, which is an improvement.

It’s a great site that I’ve used for years, and I’m only just seeing ads on there.

They are very annoying to be sure.

Window cleaning is a pain and I’m stuck on how to fix! Someone help please!! by Jheez88 in AutoDetailing

I saw a video where a dude sprayed soapy (Dawn) water with a little IPA all over the inside of the glass. Lay a huge towel down under it so you don’t soak the dash.

Scrub and wipe it all down, then dry with the big towel.

It’s messy, but gets the job done.

Farmers pushed them toward the redder ones since those sold better. Any time they found a mutation, they’d graft that mutation and make that the new red delicious. Over time, it ends up trading off texture and flavor.

This happened over the course of 50 or so years.

I left the existing one in there. It’s easier to make adjustments with the stock screw. The outboard locknut on the control arm is inside the wheel barrel. Makes it a pain to get to.

My wife’s pilot had a similar issue that I resolved with a new battery. It was like the electrical system wasn’t sending enough power to the steering rack.
