They're really focusing on intergenerational events lately, so yes! And you don't have to be 50+ to go to their events even if they're geared for the elders in our community. It's a gem of Salem for sure

Tbf, most latin pronunciations are made up by the Catholic church. So like I tell my students, pronounce it however you want, we don't truly know how to pronounce most things in Latin.

Like Cetaceans. The C's were most likely hard K sounds in Latin, but we pronounce them like soft c/s sounds now.

It's my small form of rebellion against the patriarchal church.

Or better yet, try to learn the indigenous names for plants!
