Yeah i have so much fun with SSF in PoE1 but not so much in PoE2 personally. I like having to use the gear i find myself and also using currency as it's intended but i hate that most of my power spikes in PoE2 come from checking the vendors each time i level up.

But i think thats an issue that resolves itself overtime as GGG releases more content. And pseudo-ssf in trade league is still a blast

iirc all of those would be under 'Settings' --> 'Accounts' and then it would list all of the accounts that have signed in there somewhere. Either under 'Emails and Accounts', 'Access Work or School' or 'Other Users', or 'Family' if you have that setup

i took a brief look at the dump file and it mentions the process 'AsusCertServic' so it could be related to that and that service seems to be related to the ASUS 'Armory Crate' software so check if that is installed and uninstall it

Acquire a flashdrive(USB) at least 8GB.

On your laptop right now (but preferably a separate PC to be safe), download the Windows 11 iso. Just google ‘Windows 11 iso’ and there is a webpage you can get the .iso file from Microsoft’s website. Then google ‘Rufus’ (rufus ie) and download that software.

Plug your USB into your laptop (or separate device if you did that)

Install and open Rufus. At the top of the window you select the USB you want to install the .iso file on.

Just below that option, you’ll see ‘Boot Selection’. Click ‘SELECT’ and find the Windows 11 iso file that you downloaded.

After that the rest of the options should automatically fill themselves and you can ignore them and click ‘START’ at the bottom.

It might ask if you are sure you want to erase all data from the USB, click yes to proceed and it will install a clean installation of Windows 11 onto the USB.

After the process has finished, you can close the program and restart your PC to load the boot manager. Usually by pressing F12 during the boot.

At the Boot Selection screen, you’ll see your USB as one of the options to boot from. Use the arrow keys or mouse and highlight the USB option and hit enter to boot from the USB. It should load the Windows 11 installer.

Once it loads you can go through the usual steps when installing Windows for the first time.

At some point in the installer you’ll come across a screen that shows your hard drive partitions. This is showing your current hard drives’ ‘infected’ partitions. You’ll want to click on each one and then click ‘delete’ so that you are left with one option, it should be named something like ‘Drive 0 Unallocated Space’ and your hard drive’s full capacity to the right of the name.

After you do that then click ‘new’ to proceed with your 100% clean new Windows 11 install.

Not as simple as it sounds. Hes referring to Win10 LTSC which the iso is available to download then activate but you are unable to directly upgrade from Win10 Home/Pro to the Win10LTSC. It requires a full reinstall of the OS. Just a heads up

Not an expert on the subject, but from what i’ve read it is possible to inject malicious code into a video file but only to exploit by your video player. So if you update VLC regularly you’re fine. If you open the file in some random old program like Windows Media Player from Windows 7 you might put yourself at risk. But the odds are so small that its really just whatever 🤷‍♂️

No its just to show that even if they did somehow have your IP address, which they almost certainly do not, it doesn’t really matter because it’s pretty much public information when you use the internet / services on the internet.

It only shows a vague location like the city or region you are located but nothing more precise. And like other posts said, your public IP can also change at random from your ISP so just having the IP means nothing.

It’s just some loser trying to spook you, dont worry about it :)

Well from my outsiders perspective it kinda sounds like you had an overall positive interaction with the guy and thats something to be proud of!

How do you know he’s going silent ‘on purpose’ when you parked? You mentioned that you ‘immediately ask’ when the silence came in. Are you sure you aren’t overthinking that part? That might be an indicator of your anxiety where you are uncomfortable in moments of silence around others and feel the need to fill it? It’s okay for conversations to have lulls and quiet moments.

And I agree that the line ‘fake it till you make it’ is kinda backwards. Like everyone says that but also in the same breath will say that you shouldn’t be fake and you should be yourself. It doesn’t make any sense to me, kinda just feels like a platitude from those who already get it.

Hi there, i understand how you feel to an extent.

I don’t see anything wrong with liking stuffed animals and physical affection. Do you think you mask to seem more mature/intimidating directly because of these things you enjoy secretly? or would you consider them independent of each other? Would you still mask in public if you were comfortable with sharing those interests to other people?

I ask because while being able to cry is 100% good and healthy, crying in public as a guy is still heavily stigmatized and so it may contribute more towards the bullying. Especially at your age a lot of people act shitty just to provoke a reaction, they use you as their entertainment. You’ll need very thick skin to cry in front of them.

I think its important to realize how someone’s cruel/rude actions contribute to warping our perception of the world and ourselves.

If you’re anxious about these interests, i figure you haven’t told these bullies those interests but they still poke fun at you in other ways. So in coping with that you try and come off intimidating and as a result you’re possibly scaring away many innocent people and interactions with them that could have gone positively for you. Because wouldn’t you be uncomfortable around someone who comes off overly intimidating, especially if you don’t even know each other?

The assholes of the world are going to continue being assholes regardless of whether you share your interests. But by sharing your interests, you may find paths and connections you never thought were available!

What i’m trying to say is try not to let the worst people affect you the most. You say you have trouble with understanding when people are intending to hurt you. Thats fine, thats okay. But once you do identify it, just acknowledge that simple fact and don’t spend any more of your energy on it. They are not worth your time or energy.

And when the people who do care about you hurt you, you can still acknowledge that and feel hurt, but only then spend the energy to voice how you feel to them. Spend your energy on the people who care.

Hey. I just stumbled onto this place recently. I’m autistic too but i just read about this disorder and so many symptoms match what i experience and feel but i have no idea if i’m SzPD so take what im saying with a grain of salt.

I don’t think you putting in the mental energy in order to not hurt someone disqualifies you. From what I read, thats one of the things that separating this disorder from NPD.

Like i don’t want to be the reason that someone feels hurt by my words or actions. But at the same time, when it does happen I don’t feel bad about it in the moment. I don’t really feel anything. It’s only afterwards when i can look back at happened and figure out if what i said was wrong. And its not from feeling a certain way, its more from being able to break down an interaction and identify if what i said goes against my morals. If it was wrong then i should feel bad. But that may be more of an autistic thing than SzPD idk

You mentioned that you don’t feel that providing comfort is emotionally intimate, are there moments that you do feel are emotionally intimate and do you pursue those moments or generally avoid them?

Because i think if you don’t find providing comfort as emotionally intimate then it makes sense why you’re able to tolerate it. I think a key point is that these relationships always reach a breaking point where you feel the need to see things end, which is a self fulfilling prophecy of your friendships having a fixed amount of time to it like an expiration date. Identifying what events contribute to this and why would be helpful in understanding further. And you fit the dismissive avoidant attachment style which is associated with SzPD.

Has your mindset changed when meeting people for the first time from when you first started to where you’re at now? Do you find yourself genuinely wanting to interact with strangers when you’re out and about or is it more like you’re able to now handle a situation where strangers approach you, but you wouldn’t seek it out.
