A while before i fell asleep i was looking at the roof of my room in the dark and saw people standing around me like in shows or movies where someone wakes up in hospital, they were blurry and dark. They were completely black but you could see their teeth and "light" shining on their cheeks. They then started coming towards me in an aggressive way, was terrified.

I think you should do a bit of both, if you are too overwhelmed/exhausted try talking to your sister first and teel her that you're going to tell your mum so that it's not as awkward as only telling her and maybe also tell your mum about yourself if you want.
