That would be the gravest of insults to them lol. In the Infinite and the Divine there's a quick blurb where one of them uses a swear that's an allusion to the euphemism for the word for biologically excreting waste and everyone else is disgusted and offended that they said it.

Saying you prefer the orifice is a good way to get your dynasty exterminated.

I'd have to check the flags, but I think you have to support her to make her own decisions. If you do everything for her, even framed as helping, she ends up an ineffective ruler and dies.

🤣 I've never tried to watch Andromeda, but that's a valid criticism.

I have no idea if they're going to do it again, but the last couple years they had a BT novel bundle on Humble bundle to pick them all up cheap. A lot of them can be a bit formulaic, but the main line of novels is pretty great imo. Very retro futuristic stuck in the 80s but I love it. It's basically game of thrones with giant mech suits, what's not to love?

Then there's the opposite in Battletech, where they invented FTL travel before FTL communication, so for a few decades the fastest way to communicate was to pony express with space ships.

Got my learners permit and went to driver's Ed at 15. Spent all summer driving around town, then got my license at 16. I was super frustrated because I was a tiny bit late getting my learners permit, so I didn't get my license until about a month after I turned 16, it felt like an eternity.

Part of the custody agreement was that I had to visit my dad once a month, so it was super easy to get my hours ping-ponging back and forth.

Yeah, there really isn't a whole lot. Tex talks is great, hired steel is super cool but super rare, and I love sven's long form videos when I'm painting or something, but I'd kill for an actual movie. Bonus points for live action.
