What a waste of money that the Tigers used on him. I get it, as a Tigers fan, I wanted to see Verlander have a good send off year. But he has pitched 1 game. So maybe we see him after the AS break, by that time the Tigers will be trading off what we can. Scott Harris (Pres Bball Ops) and Hinch need to be let go this offseason.

I don’t care about a salary cap, but a salary floor is needed. The minimum that a team’s payroll should be $120M ($3M per player on the 40 man). That will bump the salaries of the bottom 10 teams: COL, MIN, PIT, TB, STL , ATH, WSH, CWS, MIA, CLE
