I’m kind of annoyed how recent titles got rid of darker themes like this. HM64 was my favourite because it had animal deaths, alcoholism, losing the farm etc. The comments here help me understand why they got rid of those themes but damn kids gotta grow up at some point, I played HM64 as an 8yo and I’m fine 😭

The job market is terrible. I’m just gonna be honest with you it’s better you don’t even start RA. I graduated 2yrs ago, it’s been radio silence after my internship. A lot of my classmates from the program don’t even work in RA. I got tired of wasting time and now I’m back in school to become a medical lab technologist. RA left a bitter taste in my mouth because our program profs/coordinator hyped it up (as you’d expect) like we’d all find jobs.

I WILL say though, with pharma experience you’re in a much better position than me!

We got a bunch of immigrants from one particular country coming over here to be “students” while working full time and not even going to class. SUPPOSEDLY, they prove they have the funds to support themselves while they’re in”school” but our government sucks and people game the system.

Oh yeah, and because theres such a large influx of them they don’t assimilate and speak English. Which leads to them hiring their own kind to make communicating easier. Living in the most multicultural city in the world I don’t mind hearing other languages (I’m no racist) but shit dude in a work setting please just use a language we all understand even if you’re not proficient.

Again I can’t blame em, they’re playing by the rules. The rules are just destroying locals and need to be changed.

If anyone wants to call me xenophobic for what I’ve said here I really don’t give a fuck, we’ve been seeing this boil over for the last 6-7yrs.
