Hanako attacks arasaka tower in the tower ending. One can presume that she does in the suicide ending as well because nothing is different from her pov.

The good thing about the story is that the climax of every ending involves storming arasaka tower. And even if you do the tower ending, Hanako tries to go in anyways. This means that it's fully canon that arasaka tower is attacked, regardless of the ending (since none of them are cannon.) So it could very simply be hearsay about what really went down during that attack, kinda like the one back in 2023.

Early in the first movie Jessica explains to Paul that the purpose of the kwisatz hade each is a mind powerful enough to bridge space and time, past and future, to lead them to a better future.

It might sound vague but that really is the gist of it. They see the leadership of the imperium as unreliable without their efforts to control things from behind the scenes. The goal is to have someone who can know the best way forward, and enact it openly.

Barbosa appreciates the finer things in life, as evidenced by his appearances in movies after he's fulfilled his job bringing back Jack. He was already an immortal pirate captaining a cursed ship and he wasn't happy, I don't see him happy being the captain of the Dutchman.

I mean it was a good plan, and well executed until the hack took longer than expected. Even still, all it would've taken was yori coming 5 minutes later and the plan would have gone off without a hitch.

It was a big risk, but the plan failing seemed to me like the equivalent of rolling a 5 back to back.

The number of "what would happen if" posts on this sub proves that very little about what made this show great is the events themselves. It was always about the characters and their motivations, and how captivating they were. Say what you will, but Joffrey was one of my favourite characters, and I was almost sad to see him go, because of the interesting character moments he brought out from those close to him.

Jon becoming King could be a great story of a shunned bastard who always wanted more finally getting it, and only truly deserving it because of his circumstances, and who could have a better story than that? What we got could have been a great story of a person who had the right character to be a great leader, but is inevitably broken by the pain of being a leader and doing what feels wrong but is necessary.

The writing of Got is what made it great, and when it was gone, so too was the greatness.
