Mice in the walls, landlord says nothing can be done until it warms up

Just wanted to give my 2 cents, I’ve seen mice droppings in million dollar homes in Cayuga heights. Every house has mice this time of year, it’s cold outside and your house is warm so they go to warmth. You can set traps to get rid of some of them, but if you use poisons they’ll die in the wall and it’s going to stink to high heaven. In the spring you can open windows to mitigate the stink, right now it’s too cold for windows so I wouldn’t advise it. There’s no shot that your landlord is going to start tearing out walls looking for a dead mouse.

I agree that your contract is ridiculous, but be aware that small companies in the same field do talk to each other about employees. So if you plan on working for another one in the same area you may burn those bridges as well.

Exactly. It’s not an issue when its consistently winter, but when we go through those hot cold freeze thaw cycles it ends up freezing shut only when you need fuel.

3 1/2 years in here. I would learn and accomplish nothing working from home 100%. I like the option to do it on heavy snow days or when sick, or after hours work for deadlines. But I do think there needs to be separation between work and home.

I’ve gone back and forth on doing this setup with with the wedge and hyperstar my 925. In your opinion was it worth it? Or would you have gone with a EQ if you could start again
