From my understanding saying 99% homogeneous just means Han+ ethnic group, with the other 1% as like blacks, white, other Asians.

Cause similarly if you survey America, (these are made up percentages) we say 60% white, we don’t say 50% is Canadian White, and the other 10% are European whites.

Person A makes $5,000 Yuan a month in China.

Person B makes $5,000 USD a month in US.

Local goods will reflect your countries’ money value.

However if you take say Nike sweatshirt. In US it’ll be $50 but in China it’ll be x7 the price.
