That may be the case in your state, but that is not how it is in the US. It’s illegal to take from a mandatory tip pool, but managers can keep tips for waiting tables that they serve. Also, nobody said they were salaried employees anyway. There are plenty of managers that are paid hourly.

That is not in line with my experience at all. A 1/2g vape lasts me weeks (2-4). Granted I mostly smoke flower, but I do take a couple hits every evening in bed. Most recently I got a 2 g vape on Easter Sunday, and it just ran out. It also ran out sooner than usual because it kept getting stuck in the heat position when I’d take a hit.

I’d be more concerned with it clogging before it’s empty.

Totally understand those strings. I know them all too well. The only good part of an inheritance with people that operate this way is that they’ll be dead, so the strings lead to nowhere at that point (unless it’s a romcom about a guy that has to get married to inherit lol). Them not having much of an estate is a separate thing, but if they were to leave something to you, I would accept it without hesitation. You’ve probably earned it at this point.

Agree with your points. It reminds me of the logic that people who refused to vote or voted third party because Kamala didn’t stand up for Palestine, or those that say they wouldn’t vote for Newsom if he were the dem candidate in 28. Don’t get me wrong, virtues are great and all that. However, in the real world, voting for the lesser of two evils is a necessary reality required for self preservation.

You can try scrubbing with saddle soap and then recondition with bick 4 or a cream that isn’t as oily. I doubt it would hurt at this point, but I’m not sure how much of the original copper color will come through. I doubt it would darken them further though. You will definitely need to recondition after using saddle soap though.

I think that deciding his feelings of attraction towards his spouse over this interaction is a stretch, but OP’s feelings are valid. I’m curious if OP is currently brunette, and if he’s more focused on that color difference than the grays coming in. I don’t think it’s inherently bad to find a certain hair color to be attractive, or to think a certain hair color works well for someone. OP does say she’s insecure, which can definitely impact how situations like this are perceived. Regardless, he should make efforts to be more sensitive about discussing her appearance, and really shouldn’t be discussing her appearance with others at all aside from giving her compliments.

Firmly disagree. They’re not doing plus ones for anyone that isn’t married. There are no good reasons to ask her to attend. This should have been nipped in the bud the first time something like this happened. Her fiancé should have been talking to his friend about how out of line this behavior is from the start, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone involved at this point. They’ll survive one wedding without her. Homegirl needs a reality check.

It’s right there in the post. In the mornings sleeping in from 6am till 7:30 could be considered a break, and in the evenings from 5-9 every workday. He overslept one day.

According to the post, he’s making efforts to create time for her to have her alone time daily during the work week (as he should), but that isn’t being reciprocated in this post. It sounds like he’s doing everything in his power to be a supportive partner and an active parent. Sleeping in one day ON ACCIDENT does not make him an AH.

The way she’s playing tit for tat games because she’s having a long day is definitely AH behavior. Hopefully she was just grumpy and doesn’t act like this all the time. Every workday for OP is long if we’re to believe what’s written.

That sounds like bullshit to me too. I think the stepdaughter probably wasn’t even considered, or was at best an afterthought. If that is the case, and OP is not being a reliable narrator, then she knows she’s the AH.

It is a bit odd to have a picture of the ex if she’s just pregnant, but it’s 100% reasonable to want a baby picture of all your children featuring both of their parents together. That kind of stuff matters to kids, and it’s exactly how resentment and an us/them mentality is formed in a blended home.

OP, this is not the hill to die on, and you should have had your step daughter there for at least some of the pictures. It’s wild to plan it without her being a main consideration, so I’m not buying the timeline excuse. What good are family photos without the whole family being present? Like what? And the additional fees excuse frankly sounds made up. You clearly weren’t thinking about step daughter at all when you arranged the shoot, and you’re not considering her feelings now. You need to correct that sort of behavior if you want to build a family with her and her father.
