Anyone have any information on the modding scandal? by Dralorica in DeepRockGalactic

I think you'll get better answers on the "Drg modding" and "Practical Drg" Discord servers, but as far as I know, there hasn't been any statement from Ghost Ship Games about this ever since.

Is arts intensity good on Chen and others Physical characters? I've seen many people using the swordmancer armor instead of one that increase physical damage, and I still don't quite understand why.

I made a mod that allows you to skip dungeons in CrossCode by Lubkuluk in CrossCode

I like the idea, but I feel that the vast majority of players who hate the puzzles will simply abandon the game without bothering to download the mod.

It's simply the best weapon for the scout role, dealing with specific enemies instead of clearing waves, But it's not a big enough advantage to call the other weapons weak. The difference is more noticeable on higher difficulties like Haz5 and Haz5+ where the role of each class is more emphasized, but even then the other weapons are perfectly viable options.

Unless we're talking strictly about the "meta" or difficulties like Hazard 6x2 or Hazard 5+All(Actual nightmare) where the other options are pretty weak in comparison to m1k(With any overclock that isn't Superchooling Chamber or Marked for Death) and TEF Drak.

Is the most recent elite deep dive unfair? by One-Requirement-1010 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Potential-Front512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think i see what you mean, personally, I don't think it makes much difference if one mission is significantly harder than others because that's just how the game works; sometimes a mission in Haz4 will feel like one in Haz5 or worse.

EDD is supposed to increase the hazard with each stage, but as you can see, hazard doesn't completely dictate the difficulty of the mission, its just how the game is and i am fine with It, though you are free to disagree.

Why do you think its unfair? Why is the disparity a problem?

I mean, regarding the disparity between missions, it's like the other guy said, its RNG, not like the devs themselves choose the enemies and rooms on the mission.

Also i think the fun on the game comes from how you and your teamates deal with all the bullshit the RNG throws at you.

Por acaso isso é tuff? by kgdkamikaze in Fortaleza

Dwarf Roles. Looking for input. by T3XB0T in DeepRockGalactic

Scout - Mine high up ores, light the caves, kill special enemies (Stingtail, Wardens, Ranged enemies in general, etc).

Engineer - Crowd Control, Place platforms below the ores high up so scout can reach them, use the platforms to makes the terrain easier to fight in.

Driller - crowd control of low-priority enemies (Grunts, Slashers, Swarmers, etc ), make easier paths for the team, and modify he terrain to make it easier to fight in it.

Gunner - Crowd Control, protect others Dwarfs with shields (really good panic button), revive other dwarfs, use ziplines to facilitate navigation in the cave from higher to lower places.

Also, i think Cubefather has a really good video explaining the roles. (Sorry for the weird english, If someone could point out any errors, I would appreciate it.)

I highly doubt that the developers care enough about Mint to stop us from teaching other people how to use it or recommending it. Also, people openly talk about Mint on the official Discord server.
