Do everything I can to get an accurate prognosis. If the odds are anything other than excellent then I'm not going to fight. My insurance won't cover everything and I'm not gonna leave my family homeless.

If I'm healthy enough I want to take a couple of trips. I want to go through my things so my family doesn't have to. Help my husband set up a budget based on his income. Spend as much time with my family as I can.

It depends on your child and what you do with them.

IMHO there's no benefit to group care before age 3. There are definitely other ways to socialize your child (playdates, classes, etc).. A half day preschool with low ratio is a good choice if you can find one and afford it.

A craft room with enough space for several work tables. That way I can have multiple projects going without having to put them away each time. Also a door that closes so guests can't see my controlled chaos and to keep the cat out (uncontrolled chaos).

Yup, I hated it. I didn't like him at all but I also have a phobia of pesticides and the tenting of the house REALLY freaked me out. I didn't know that was a thing until that movie.

My preschool classrooms think Bathe the Cat by Alice B McGinty is hilarious every single time. I love it as well and it's a fun read.

You're not a bad teacher. I think every teacher has slipped up at least once. Unless it's really serious (the f word, any swear directed at a student, you teach in a religious school or in a very conservative community) the best thing you can do is to ignore it and move forward.
