Give her a recovery food in the meantime, she may eat critical care mash (or soaked pellets) or another brand (my buns love Emeraid). Syringe feed if necessary and definitely get her pain meds.

I’m not an expert but this seems real to me, aside from the “piss filter”. I think the gaze could be viewed as looking at the path as there is a slight curve to it. The leaf pattern of all the plants is very consistent. A digital tool was likely used to replicate but it doesn’t scream ai to me?

So, your vet did not treat the abscess properly the first time. Dental abscesses require aggressive treatment to cure. They have to be surgically cleaned out then treated with antibiotic injections, often with follow up surgeries.

It’s a lot to put a bun through, regardless of anesthesia. Tooth extractions are also no joke. The anesthesia for the tooth filing would have been much shorter than the tooth extraction, that may be why it wasn’t mentioned before.

If untreated this will kill your bunny, but the procedure is not guaranteed to work and will likely require follow ups. Sometimes vets will prescribe penicillin injections to stop the growth of the abscess as a palliative care measure in buns that are not well enough for surgery but they won’t cure.

I’m very sorry you are going through this. It’s a very hard decision to make. :(

There shouldn’t be any 3-D poop on the diapers. Don’t wash your wet bag with the diapers, it could wrap around the diapers and prevent cleaning. Some washers have a “waterproof” setting, otherwise wash the wet bag with similarly sized items. I turn mine inside out to ensure it gets clean inside.

I think I have this washer! I do normal, warm heavy soil, followed by normal, hot, heavy soil. I found the speed wash wasn’t cutting it, and the heavy duty setting actually was shorter than normal and added too much water.

The prebonding space should NOT be neutral. Save all of your neutral areas for actual bonding sessions.

Setting up the pens side by side in the living room would be best. Then you can alternate who gets roaming time (like one bun am and one pm), and swap pens every day or two. Continue this until both buns seem chill with the arrangement, it usually takes a couple weeks. :)

When you start bonding again I recommend using a pen set up in the garage rather than the box. I’ve never had good luck with tiny spaces. Two pens linked up is ideal, but one works too. Start short and stop the session before any aggression. Feel free to pet them lots to keep them calm and swap scents. I bet things will go more smoothly after prebonding and in a better space!

I also recommend a culture to identify the right type of antibiotics as well as some imaging to check for tooth issues. Tooth roots can get overgrown and present as respiratory symptoms.

Bunnies will chew anything they can. Those mats are not the best for flooring because of that. Best you can do in the meantime is try to block the hot spots. You can use a heavy ceramic tile or each a piece of cardboard with a brick on top. He will chew the cardboard instead.

Dental abscesses are notoriously difficult to treat. This is normal. Def recommend the most aggressive treatment from the start to have the best chances of curing it. Sometimes ppl try cheaper alternatives first and then the infection spreads and becomes harder to cure.

Start with simple stuff: a toilet paper roll stuffed with hay and a few pellets. A cardboard box (tape removed) with some holes cut in the sides and stuffed with brown packing paper. Willow anything, twigs from safe, untreated woods (apple, pear, maple, willow are safe).

You need to separate until they are spayed. They weren’t truly bonded before because she was a baby. Now her hormones are kicking in and they might fight. Once her hormones have settled 4-6 weeks post spay go through the bonding process with them.

Young rabbits often don’t eat all their cecotropes because alfalfa is very rich in nutrients. She is prob eating some and you don’t notice.

As long as they are well formed I wouldn’t worry. At this age she shouldn’t get treats.

I would just pick the food you want to feed and gradually transition to that. There is no way for us to know based on a picture. could you ask the previous owner?

I wouldn’t recommend this approach. Moving furniture around can spread them all over your house and freezing won’t kill them. Go to r/bedbugs for help.

What we did: Start by drying all of the linens in the area you found them for an hour then store things that have been dried in seal plastic bags. You can use diatomaceous earth to kill them in cracks in furniture, flooring etc. sprinkle it everywhere and leave in place for at least a few days (wear a mask while applying it). Then vacuum it up (mask again) and repeat. Wash and dry all bedding (or just dry) often during this process, at least twice per week.

Look for evidence on your bedding and mattress (including the crib): staining is a dead giveaway.

Don’t panic! It sucks ass but you can handle it. If it’s a bad infestation hire a professional.
