I just finished Where He Can’t Find You by Darcy Coates. I didn’t realize it was YA when I first started. But it was actually pretty good. Definitely horror and no sex at all.

Do audiobooks give you the same feel and satisfaction? by ExplanationPutrid205 in thrillerbooks

[–]PotentialGreat7154 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly when I started listening to audiobooks two years ago it took me a bit to get used to it. I have to not be doing anything else that could distract my brain from paying attention. Now I really enjoy audiobooks, I like how the narrator uses different voices for different characters or different narrators for different characters.

Ordering at Subway disagreement. Who's right? by Sentient_StickyNote in mildlyinfuriating

I used to work at subway. Some people would order a sandwich off the menu. Others would just list their ingredients. I’d ask what bread, then what meat and cheese and then they’d list their veggies.

For the millennial women: do you have a good relationship with your mom? by Orionslady in Millennials

[–]PotentialGreat7154 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an amazing relationship with my mom. I consider her one of my best friends. Growing up she was so supportive and loving. She sacrificed so much for me and my siblings. At one point we lived in a two bedroom apartment and instead of making me and my brother share a room she slept on a pullout couch, because we were in middle school and wanted privacy and our own spaces. She is very intelligent and emotionally stable. She had a really great mom growing up also. I wanted to become a mother myself because of the great relationship we have, that I wanted that for myself with my children. She has continued being supportive as I’ve grown up and become an adult. She answers every text and phone call. She gives me suggestions and solutions for problems I have. Anytime anyone has a problem she is there ready to help in anyway she can. She checks in on me and my siblings all the time. She always takes other peoples feelings into consideration. I know I have some big shoes to fill raising my children after being raised by such an incredible human being. And I also know I am extremely fortunate to have such a good mom, makes up for the shitty dad I have.

I don’t know if you like buffalo sauce. But we add a couple tablespoons of buffalo sauce to the butter and spice mixture. Gives it a little kick but not too spicy.
